if you would change the name to "conVert-bit" or something along the lines of the word conVert that would be awesome and more self explanatory because the current name is a bit hard and not main stream

I agree the name VertVerser definitely needs a change, that means nothing to me. I had to go to Reddit to find out what it was :

http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/29p5m7/ann_presenting_vertverser/

So VertVerser ( a way to pay with bitcoin anywhere you go) Is awesome Shocked,,....name, not so much.

Edit: Nevermind, it seems a website with the name VertVerser already exists. I've committed the name to memory so I'm all good now, lol.

Stealth addresses rely on the Elliptic curve Diffie-Hellman algorithm, originally used by Bitcointalk.org forum member ByteCoin, to generate an anonymous key agreement between payors and payees, enabling them to share a “secret” that can be used for them to divide funds.

A step-by-step diagram illusrates how Stealth addresses work in four steps:

The payee publishes a public key ‘Q‘ and a corresponding private key ‘d‘.
The payer generates a key pair where the private key = ‘e‘ public key of ‘P‘ where ‘P‘ is the transaction.
The payer calculates ‘S=eQ‘, where ‘S‘ is a shared secret between the two parties. The payee calculates ‘S=dP‘ to get ‘S‘.
With the secret shared, either side can calculate an offset to ‘Q‘, which acts as the address. The payee then checks the transaction, and if the address matches, spends the funds.

Very informative, thanks.

Long back I was doubtful when Boris said they were working on some anonymiser technique. Now they have finally delivered.

and it's a pretty clever way to achieve it !

I'm kind of confused on how to use VertVerser ( I like the name ConVerter myself ).  I think it might be better to have 2 different areas for destination inputs on the site.  A pay with VTC area and a pay with BTC area.  I think this could simplify things.  You don't want somebody inputting a BTC address and then putting the amount in VTC.  That could get ugly unless I don't get how it's working, but the buffer would get filled pretty quickly.

Also is there an exchange rate and if so what is it based on?  Maybe I don't understand how it's supposed to work.

conVert would be much cooler as name imo

If it makes a difference I agree, if its not open for a rename, its still good. Either way well done!

The previous illustration of stealth seemed bit confusing to me.

Sketched my own understanding based on  https://sx.dyne.org/stealth.html

Thanks!
