Yup, sad indeed, seems it's over and out for Vertcoin... I will not sell my coins and hope for e ressurection but highly doubt it'll be able to get to the good old value again
As long as the services around the coin are continued to be built (dev/community effort) and as long as the coin is being traded with (24hr volume = 80000$ which is quite healthy) the coin cannot die. Mining network is still quite strong, which tell me that there is a lot of people that believe in this coin.
Honestly guys, do you think that Litecoin was simply going up and up all the time? All coins had their ups and downs, VTC is no different in that respect. My only suggestion is mine and continue to spread good word on VTC and continue to contribute to community as much as you can, good times are ahead.
that is what we have been doing for the past month with no results, we might be getting adopted everywhere but there isnt anything to show for it

. Look at the fundamentals. Its a strong coin. you honestly think wdc/quark etc are better than Vertcoin? Do as you wish. But dont forget upswings in this "industry" happen quickly, and as long as the dev support is there this will remain one of the few promising coins.Edit: Looks like we are headed into the 3rd phase.
1rst was early miners/adopters.
2nd was people who were trying to ride the Feb upswing ( and probably lost some $ so you cant blame them for being moving on)
and now the bargain hunters will move in and we will settle before the next upswing once Vert develops itself further
No patience sure i am holding since 8 now 1.5 and i already lost 6.5 btc.2.5 million coin mined only and no buy support how i can calm down with these miner dumps still we have lots of coin hasnt mined yet!
