Someone has raised the point on the forum http://vertcoinforum.com/index.php?topic=59.0 that Vertcoin doesn't yet have a wikipedia entry. Is there anyone in the community who has a wikipedia user account and could help create an entry? I can help out with wordings if needed.

It seems 1400 vert is not enough, as that is not close to the $5000 target.

VTC was picking up the slack after WorldCoins fund fell short. I don't think the intention of the funraiser was to cover the full $5k, just the shortfall.

It seems 1400 vert is not enough, as that is not close to the $5000 target.

I really think you should fund something to help promote this coin... Seems like it's dying
There are things that were funded recently that are in the works
(marketing, animation etc)Edit: dying? a week of relatively stable prices (2-3$), and a lot of work done behind the scenes in development/marketing is not considered dying.
yep and don't forget the planed features with moolah.ch (amazon etc.)....
if you are looking for quick profit maybe vtc is not the right thing.
if you are patient just ignore the flavor of the week and concentrate on vtc.
And dont forget zerocash implementation, this is the biggie

I think when promoting we should really point out why vertcoin isn't "yet another bitcoin". For instance bitcoin was made to decentralise financial payment, but with the recent asic addition the mining system seems centralising.. vertcoin has a solution for this etc

Personally I'd vote for the well... The original post said you needed $5000, and with 1400 you're not there yet. I'd like to get as close as possible to that goal.
If the price picked up we would definitely be so much closer to the target. Price just keeps slipping everyday.
