VTC - MINE AND HOLD !

I'd mine if I could.  Sad The miner in the OP hangs my PC and I have to restart it everytime I try to mine Vertcoin, even at half intensity. At lower intensity than half, it works fine, but it gives about 30 KH/s with two 7950's (I should get about half of 1200 KH/s which I get on normal scrypt coins).

Guys I really need you help

I've been trying to compile the wallet on centOS 6.5 for hours now and I can not get it to work.
On the shared host I am trying to set it up for building some services for the vertcoin community it won't compile because of boost issues.

Since I do not have root access, is there any way to link the libraries used for compiling to own packages? how can I build my own packages and then properly compile the wallet???

This'll probably be easier to solve through IRC - join us in #vertcoin on freenode. I will be around tomorrow, or there are probably people there now who can help too.

Feeling good about Vertcoin's future.  Happy to be able to pick up 1k VERT at 37.  Think that this price will not hold.  But I will!

Yes, I was delighted to be able to buy them at 40k again today.

Most people are still mining on regular pools. I guess the 0 hashrate could mean no one in the US is mining on p2pool or they're all mining on my node in europe.. Like I said, we could use some more hashrate in network! Wink

Right, noone is currently mining on the USA East Node. One small miner is on USA West. All of the p2pool power is coming from bengt's European node atm. When any node finds a block, all shares on all pools are paid out. p2pool network-wide is a single pool all working together.

I like idea of p2pool.. some small pools are having problems attract miners.. like that, they could mine there and still get paid fairly, right?

Yeah, everyone works together! Anyone who wants to can run their own node, or just pick whichever one is closest to them,

much is much..
I am really disapointed by "stability" of coined up..
so please all start writing to CoinEx, if they could add Vert Coin, as we need some stable platform where to trade with coins..

Please make some persnal requests here:

https://coinex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

its much better than any "pool" that nobody even checks.. like that, real person gets that and if enough requests come, they will surely add it soon

In theory, someone wanting to mine off a public p2pool node without setting up p2pool themselves should mine at the node with the low latency from their miners.

Could use some more hashing power on our p2pool network, current nodes are:

US (east): http://vtc.royalminingco.com:9171
US (west): http://54.204.146.220:9171
Europe: http://p2pool.etyd.org:9171

P.S. That new diff, wow

FYI, the US hashrates are 0...

implications?

None I know of.. P2pool is peer to peer distributed pool, all payouts are shared equally (based on your submitted valid shares, PPLNS) between all users on all connected nodes

Hmm... ok to rephrase, does 0 hashrate mean nobody in the US is presently mining?
