Hi
why do I have only 50% of the speed of mining?
Can be integrated miner and explorer part of the share goes to the account of the developer miner? as it was with protocoins. Can anyone verify this?

Wake up folks, 51% attack possibility is just around the corner!

Warning, mining on the largest pool can cause problems with the coin. Please choose one of the smaller pools. The smaller pools are automatically moved to the top of the list every 3 minutes.

It will be interesting to see the price of this coin in the days ahead seeing how there are many generic coins such as Worldcoin, Digitalcoin, Stablecoin, Megacoin, etc that don't really do anything different or better than Litecoin, but are currently priced much higher than VTC.  VTC brings actual improvements over Litecoin, and a reason for existing that those coins just don't have.  There are also 1/3rd as many VTC as Worldcoin, and around 1/2 as many VTC as Digitalcoin.

It is currently massively undervalued, which is why I bought a good bit on Coinedup yesterday.

Yep VTC is certainly very cheap right now, I bought some too - given what you said about the rarity of Vert vs. Digitalcoin/Worldcoin what are peoples price predictions? What impact do you think it'll have if asics start hitting the network?

An interesting comparison you make with the WDC and DGC prices, makes sense and as you said, they really have no particular unique features like VTC does.

Everyone, once again can we please try to balance the pools. At present, bitcrush is much bigger than the others.

Please start mining on (or move to) a smaller pool chosen from the dynamically updated information at www.vertcoin.com

For reference, here are the current hashrates at time of posting:

    VTC.POOL.PM - Hashrate: 59 Khash/s
    LA.VERTCOIN.ORG - Hashrate: 0 Khash/s
    HK.VERTCO.IN - Hashrate: 2 Khash/s
    EU.VERTCOIN.ORG - Hashrate: 1.18 Mhash/s
    NY.VERTCO.IN - Hashrate: 4.664 Mhash/s
    VTC.KILOVOLT.CO.UK - Hashrate: 8.441 Mhash/s
    VERT.BITCRUSH.INFO - Hashrate: 23.623 Mhash/s

As you can see vtc.pool.pm, la.vertcoin.org, hk.vertco.in and vtc.kilovolt.co.uk are the smallest pools - please join (or move to) one of them.

I'm mining this at vert.bitcrush.info for a few days and this is the most stable pool i found this far. Tried most of them and had the same issues with like most of you guys are reporting. Try them!

Yes, I second this - bitcrush have been very stable. The only reason I was trying to shift people off there earlier was to balance the network. As always, please check www.vertcoin.com and go on a smaller pool to distribute the hashrate.

Lots of people are complaining about disconnects and stuff from pools.  Pool.pm is probably the most stable of Vert pools and had the biggest hash at launch (probably 80% or so).  It got DOS'd for a day or two and everyone went to other pools.  Probably need some people to migrate back there now since it was the best running pool of the bunch.

I just read a bunch of threads about them. Not a hoax, but seriously overpriced still... This post pretty much sums it up...

Basically it seems to me the GC3355 will pretty much mean paying your years electricity bills up front, so it'll be borderline competitive with buying GPUs, but with a lower resale value, so it's not there yet, but it's not so far off. I doubt it'll be as much as 3 months until something else more effective comes along.

Price rising at CoinedUp. Seems the weak hands are being shaken out following some initial dumping.

Yep.  I went in with 600 VTC 2 days ago, sold most of it, then bought nearly 2000 VTC with the proceeds after all the dumpers came in

Rumors are spreading that the first Gridseed scrypt ASICs have shipped - anyone know more? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gridseed-just-sold-a-first-batch-of-scrypt-asic-417635

My guess is that it's a hoax..  Could be true though.  If so the timing of this coin is impeccable.

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 1
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu2.bitcrush.info:3444 -u uu.uu -p x --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://s.ny.vertco.in:3333 -u uu.uu -p x -I 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 85 --temp-overheat 83 --temp-target 78 --gpu-vddc 1.087

is there a reason why i cant connect with any of these pools?

You have -u and -p specified twice. Perhaps that is breaking something? Other than that, your overclock looks extreme, and you might be trying to undervolt as well such that cgminer can't mine?

Try:

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu2.bitcrush.info:3444 -u username -p password -I 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 85 --temp-overheat 83 --temp-target 78
