So this R9 280x works and hashes fine plugged directly into the x16 slot, but isn't detected when plugged into a 1x-16x riser which works with all my other cards, including other R9 280x's.

It seems like this R9 280x may be faulty in a way that disrupts the information flowing from 16x-1x, which doesn't occur when plugged directly to 16x.

Has anyone else run into this?
