You could try their free service though, only if the tx fee is >= 0.0001 btc. Paid tx accelerator always charge higher fees so 25% is pretty normal. Much better to wait if its not that urgent.

Fee was 0.0006.  Cannot use free
Yes you can if its 0.0006 btc. Viabtc free accelerator can accelerate transaction fee with 0.0001 btc or above.

Just a little tip, be ready at 59th minutes of the hour and submit it on hour sharp, hour:00:00 as it accepts only limited numbers.

Apologies its 0.00006

With waiting.    If BTC goes up a chunk again doesn't that just reduce my chances because of the fees
The fee isn't that low, if you can wait a few weeks. Currently, fees went up because there are less miners online. Once the difficulty drops and the miners get back online, I expect (and hope) fees will get lower again.

Given the other thread posted by OP, he/she is talking about this tranasction.
The transaction has not been flagged as RBF and it is paying 9 sat/byte as transaction fee.
I thought OP did not post any link related to txid, and OP posted above that he used 0.0006 BTC, but it was a mistake from the OP, he/she used 0.00006 BTC instead according to what was on blockchain explorer using the link you posted above.

You are sending the transaction to coinbase, which makes you not able to use CPFP as you implied. But let me ask you these two questions to know if you can still avoid using paid accelerator.

Do you use a wallet that support replace-by-fee? Like electrum wallet. If so, try to confirm if the transaction is replaceable, if replaceable, you can easily pump the fee?

If you have change address UTXO, you can still make use of CPFP. All you will need to do is to spend bitcoin from the change address and send it to another address on your wallet (or spend part of the UTXO in another transaction), but using a high fee. The mempool recently dropped, 84 sat/vbyte will get a single (1 input and 2 outtputs) transaction confirmed now, so multiply it by 2 and minus it by you last feerate will be the good feerate you can use for now, i.e paying for two transactions.

If you can not use CPFP, then just wait is the best advice.

Edit:
Fee was 0.0006.  Cannot use free
0.0006 btc?

The feerate to that will be more than 10sat/byte which is the minimum feerate used Inna transaction to be able to use ViaBTC free accelerator, you will be able to use ViaBTC free acceleratator. Just keep on trying, it will later work, only 100 transactions per hour are accepted, the reason many transactions are not included.

25% seems about right.   Total sent to me is 855 and its 221 or accelerate.    Not in contact with sender.   So its pay or wait longer
I would wait Smiley

Seems like the only option.
Are you in contact with whoever sent it? If they stop broadcasting, it might drop out of mempool at some point so they can send it again with higher fee.

Is the paid version legit?

Or a scam like the majority
It is legit as Loycev said but you need to have BCH in your account and also registration is must for using their paid service. If you don't have enough BCH then you need to deposit.

Are you willing to pay about 25% of the output to ViaBTC?

Is this for real? They are collecting 25% from the total amount sent as fee for their paid service? Their fee structure page don't have any clarification about this.

Well the transaction before the crash was 1100 usd.  Now down to 800 or so with no signs of it confirming

Seems like the only option.

ViaBTC's free transaction accelerator is legit. It wouldn't make any sense if their paid service would scam you.

Are you willing to pay about 25% of the output to ViaBTC?

Hello.

I need to get a transaction accelerated as it has almost been 7 days since it was sent to me

The fees where extremely low so I am unable to use Viabtc free acceleration.

coinbase wallet so cannot use CPFP

Is the paid version legit?

Or a scam like the majority
