I wonder if the guy in this video is smart enough to realize how stupid he sounds? Probably not.

According to the guy in the video: Currency needs to represent the value of society, economy and humanity.
Please, who can, told to him that bitcoin represent the first materialization of one of the most valuable technology developed by the human kind in him's story. This technology will change radically all the way of existence and the life of the entire society, economy and humanity. He must study and understand the value of peer to peer, its potential and its application power. Let do a simple search in internet to see who are applied this technology and to learn that this is only the begging. Maybe even the beginning is not yet arrived. And then give lessons about bitcoin or its production technology.

Telling word it is easy. No need to learn and study nothing. Just formulate the word you know or read at the newspapers. Telling thoughts is very difficult. Because every thought is product of knowledge and reasoning. That person in the video must learn to tell thoughts when speak in public to not become ridiculous.

But leaving the above things because can seems difficult to understand to him. I want to ask him only a question: what name can have something with which can be bought everything in market?

"...it has to be backed up with something....."

Uhh, is this guy sane or has completely lost his mind? As long as I can buy things, pay for my bills, do some spending/gambling, the entities I've paud bitcoin to accepted it as a currency.

As long as you can buy something with it,it contains the conception behind a currency,so it is one.It doesn't neccessarily have to be backed up by something as long as it can be traded with.

Is this guy brain dead. Bitcoin does represent society and humanity. Satoshi Nakamoto made bitcoin, it is truly a revelation that is brilliant for society or nobody would be using it. Why do a few million users of bitcoin, consider it as a currency. I would easily take their word over 1 guy who doesn't know what he is talking about. I don't think he even uses bitcoin, looking at the way he feels about it. Why does he get so angry about something he doesn't even use?

"Man-eating blooms don't exist, people. Do you fucktards realize how large a bloom would have to become to consume a human being? Besides, who in their right mind is goin' set up a office space in the middle of nowhere and not be aware of the environment around them?"

currency can be anything.. gold, vodka, cigarettes, sexual favours. basically anything one person has and wants to offer to another person..

the guy in th video is talking, not about currency. but about 'money' which is a subdevision of the umbrella term currency.

money is them pieces of paper that cost 3cent to make but are valued at $10,$20, $50, $100... all because of the different lettering on the paper.
money is the cheap metal worth 10% of the value etched into it.

it is money that needs to be backed by something to hold actual value, enough for people to trust and desire.. for it to then be tradable and thus be classed as currency.

the guy in the video has no clue of that basic difference between money vs currency.

as for saying its a mathematical algorythm... yea so what
bank notes are just paper and ink
gold is just an element on the periodic table

maybe he needs to think about currency in a different way, because whatever he is ranting about is not currency,, but money

Satoshi is rolling in his grave. #bitcoin
Never clicked on a dislike button quite as fast as i did here. The guy is obvious supporter of the current system and values we have.
We should use him in ad for bitcoin, just to show what kind of people support fiat. btw he looks like he's trippin on some good stuff as well.

Well the EU has decided to classify Bitcoin as currency after long deliberations. However, I think the USA has classified it as property, and I don't know if the Chinese have classified it as anything yet. The Chinese are more concerned about stopping people using it to get money out of the country than classifying it as money or property.
Well only thing the Chinese can't do is ban bitcoin use nationally. Clever rice farmers always find a workaround to government issued bans. Just look at how pathetic the great firewall is. Any tech savvy person could find a workaround for that.
Unless you ban whole Internet like North Koreans did, there is no way to ban bitcoin, there will be always workaround and goverments knew this.
They can block certain sites or information, but where money is at stake people will find a way.

In the video, "humanity" word looked so out of place. Money should represent humanity? Since when it does not represent greed?

✪ NEXCHANGE | BTC, LTC, ETH & DOGE ✪
Completely nuts.

Fiat has value only because people agree to exchange it for actually valuable things (cars, food, etc.). The moment you use money to buy Bitcoin you are also spreading the value that money represents. Not to tell that you can also buy things with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is backed up exactly the same way "regular" money is. Is backed up by people agreeing to give their whatever good for it.
