What's the point of paying with a bitcoin card and not with a normal cc?
Which also has lower fees than the crap centra offers...
Annual Fee: $50 in CTR*
Bank ATM Withdrawal Fee $2.50
One-Time Activation Fee: $20.00
ING does this for 0 (zero)
Right now its impossible to pay with bitcoin because of the high transaction fees. But with the card you do not have to pay these fees.
That is the beauty of the centra card, you are not paying the $50-$75 transaction fee because the BTC never gets sent on the blockchain. BTC is converted to fiat at time of purchase and paid through that. So if a item cost $50, you are paying $50 worth of BTC not the transaction fee.
Conversion fee is free
https://centra.tech/card-fees/Yes there is a small annual fee, and a fee if you want to withdraw money from a bank ATM. But the money you save in bitcoin transaction fees will definitely make that up.
Bro, are you getting paid to shill on this thing? Like stompix said, there's no point in paying with bitcoin if you still use a 3rd party as the middleman for transactions, that defeats the purpose of cryptocurrencies, especially the whole point of Bitcoin. And why would anyone want to have a wallet in a centralized exchange or company? especially a company from the banking system? Quoting Andreas Antonopoulos: "not your keys, not your Bitcoin".
And what high fees are you talking about? That was a few days ago when the network was under attack with spam tx.
The mempool is currently clearing and it is now accepting fees in the 200 Sat/b range. Unless another attacks occurs, we should return to normal fees in the next few days. So, are you going to keep the same argument by then? or are you going to make another post but with a different argument attacking Bitcoin? let me guess, you're going to say that Bitcoin takes too long to confirm transactions so your centra card is the solution...correct? too easy
