I always enjoyed playing the fairies since I always had the indian druid guy and the Sprites which were attractive enough plus the Elves and their double attack.
FIRST UNIT I TOOK OUT unless they had a phoenix (Then Armageddon to All of them including my own troops lol)
Late game use a skilled hero with high magic skills and send it off to suicide attack with Armageddon + a cursed item if I had one.
Recall Armageddon worked on Phoenixs but not on Dragons
Since the quests changed your Castle depending on what scenario you were playing.
That reminded me of how random the cannon fire when attacking castles were.
The Paladins Clanging sound was cool weakest ultimate hero for its HP but fast if I was lucky I mean real lucky my favorite troop was GHOST followed by Genies the best counter to Ghosts.

Go sexy sprites Smiley

So who remembers this one there was also that tower game as well with wizards can't recall its name atm.

oh, oh! i mentioned wolfenstein and galactix, but how could i forget this masterpiece -- heroes of might and magic!! the first one was my favorite. i think they started churning a bunch of them out, didnt keep up.

...and the RPG variant (Might and Magic) was also brilliant. Have you guys played Ultima Underworld? Wizzardry was also a really good one.

Oh man This was the best game ever the one of my childhood
Long live Heroes of Might and Magic and the powerful Blue Flag
It was also neat that you could sometimes find artifacts from the defeated heroes of the other players hehe or send a suicide hero if you pick up the scroll of misfortune hehe.
Mmm think I still have this Windows 95 CD tempted now played this a heck of a lot with that soundtrack Smiley
Boots of Haste Medals of Valor Gauntlets Good old money purses Smiley

(Oh and Peasant army for the win easy to get them to join you and put haste on those things and they are powerful)

oh lord, i remember playing this game in high school.. either hot seat or via my 33.6 KBPS modem. and it was fun as hell. my favorite race was probably the ones with the titans and halflings.. and then the warlocks/dragons were pretty good too.

Can I get a link where I can play Prince of Persia online.! or a link where i can download it to play offline..! I still remember I was some 8-10 years old and used to play this one in school with Mario bros Smiley

http://www.bestoldgames.net/eng/old-games/prince-of-persia.php

There you go.  Grin You will need a dos emulator like DosBox or D-Fend to run it though.

Disclaimer: I haven't tried the file yet, so be sure to have an antivirus/antimalware program ready just in case.

I remember when I was about 8-9 years old, I played Leisure Sweet Larry with my parent's pc,
the 8 color graphics was amazing for the time, I enjoyed that game much...  Grin

LOL!

I remember that game.  My buddy had it for the Apple IIE if I remember correctly.  The questions they asked at the beginning to prove that you were of age were hilarious.  Oddly enough, the questions are a lot harder now than they were when I was a kid, LOL!

Other than that, I think back to the store where you buy the condoms, LOL!

Classic!

Anyone remembmer and play this game growing up?  First played it on the good old Commodore 64.  Later it was released on the Nintendo.  I still it to this day on the computer through a Nintendo emulator.  You can even play it online, even though I haven't tried it.

Anyone spend countless hours trying to play that morass of a game The Magic Candle?  I was just a kid and the instructions were so thick I just tried playing it without the instructions and I was clueless.  It was like a huge fantasy world and you had to write things down and the game took like 100 hours or something.  I had no patience though and it got really tough for my little kid brain.

Never heard of it, but it definitely sounds intriguing. I'm gonna have to check it out and possibly give it a try if I can find it and get it to work.
