After last weekend game which saw Strasbourg  taken a point. As the team postponed their promotional celebration by taking just a 2:2 draw on the road to Niort last Friday evening. Truth to be told, they didn’t deserve more than a point, as the home team was awarded for their fighting spirit and didn’t look outplayed in any way.

Bourg Peronnas was actually long time ago a safe squad regarding their relegation worries, so some drop in form is not to be a surprise when this club is in question. The team has just one victory out of last six rounds, coming from a 1:2 defeat in front of their own fans against Brest last Friday evening.

It was overall very open game and even though the victory for the visiting team is fair, it could have easily been with couple of more goals in both nets. Visitors took the lead in 27th minute with a goal from Diallo, while Merdji leveled it up in 52nd. Guests looked a bit more combative and were risking more towards the end, deserving the victory with another goal from Diallo in 78th minute.
This game is all about Strasbourg and I’m more than sure that they’ll record a victory, promote to Ligue 1, but also celebrate Ligue 2 title. However, Bourg Peronnas has been looking decently lately in attack and I’m sure that they’ll be able to show some of their potential in overall, very open game. Seeing current odds, I won’t hesitate taking both teams to score but also Strasbourg winning this one in fashion.
