Yes, we have been over this already. Any excuse to ignore the disturbing goals and intent of the current Virginia administration, that is the substance. "snuck through" refers to the fact that the gun law was used as a distraction while these other laws were introduced. You keep obsessing about the pimple on your face while gangrene takes your leg. This is about protecting yourself from the cognitive dissonance you would experience by examining the goals and contents of these laws by focusing on peripheral issues to minimize and dismiss it.

You're really reaching hard now to justify your (continued) posting of utterly fake news. Again, none of these bills have been passed, and no "secret executive order" was issued. You're worrying about a problem that doesn't exist. I suggest you find a better hobby for your own well being.

Oh, well other states do it, its ok! You could apply the same logic to legalizing slavery, some how I don't think that premise is a valid one. The point is felons tend to vote Democrat, because Democrats are the party of creating crime so they can profit of of it. They are trying to find any way they can to put their thumbs on the scales. These bills demonstrate clear intent to do this. You two have fun jerking each other off over the headline while you completely ignore the substance though.

We've been over this already. The substance was clearly false.

While everyone was watching the gun bills, the Virginia governor snuck through these communist bills.

The bills weren't "snuck through." They haven't been passed! The governor can't issue an executive order to magically enact bills. Your whole story was bogus. You should really do a bit more fact checking next time before posting a link.

these are the democrats, they know that they are being exposed as racists and nazis, and they somehow have to protect their power since they can't win against trump in 2020 and are tearing each other apart.

What is important is the headline is sensational of course. This is not something literally every media outlet does, no of course not. These insane power grabbing laws introduced are secondary to the fact you don't like the way the headline was written. Gotta have priorities and focus on the important bits right?

Introduced and ISSUED are two very different things.

Introduced would mean that the bill has just put been put forth by someone in the chamber. That gives it as much of a chance as anything else in passing. Issued would mean that the bill / executive order has been issued as law and it will be enforced. Which is why this is the problem in the verbiage used.

They're also not executive orders, which would've been active upon being issued. They're bills.

This is like my writing a story about how some random state representative in south dakota wants to ban cell phones for people under 21 and then making the headline "SOUTH DAKOTA ISSUES LAW THAT BANS CELLPHONES FOR PEOPLE UNDER 21" This isn't true and it's misleading, it's bullshit all around. Crazy bills are introduced everyday, that doesn't mean there's a chance of them being passed.

If the governor and the majority of the legislature had come out and said they were supporting the bills and wanted to see them passed, that's one thing. But as of right now this is nothing.

Not only was the headline sensational and false but the content of the story was false as well. What else is there to focus on? Regardless, what you consider to be "insane power grabbing laws" have already been enacted in several other states.

I'm pretty sure you understand that none of these executive orders and that all of these are just proposed bills in either the VA Senate or the House. Nothing has been passed, and nothing is going to change in VA. All this blog is is a sensationalist piece of news that is meant to clickbait deceive old people on facebook or people who don't know what facebook is.

https://bongino.com/under-the-radar-va-is-proposing-some-crazy-non-gun-control-laws-too/

Even bongino says that they're PROPOSING some CRAZY non gun control laws. PROPOSING.

No references? Where did you get that list? Oh right, the list referenced in the article.

That's just a list of bills. The article contains zero references to back up its claims of the governor issuing a "secret executive order." When the phrase "snuck through" is used, it always means that a bill was passed in a sneaky manner -- not that was introduced in a sneaky manner, which none of these bills were anyway. That's why its fake news.

How can a governor "sneak" bills through a state congress anyway? By using a "secret executive order"? He can't, and he didn't. You like to talk about "burden of proof" quite a bit, and in this case the burden of proof is on you to show that a "secret executive order" was issued. Even if it was (it wasn't), it sure wasn't very effective, as all of the bills are yet to be passed.

What does "total power" mean anyway?

It doesn't mean anything. Its part of a sensationalist headline by a fake news site that exists only to inflame right wing NPCs. It needs more exclamation points at the end of it. I'm not sold on just the 1.

Didn't happen. No proof, no references, just a claim that that's what happened. None of these bills have been passed. Fake news at its basest.

Total Fail.

No references? Where did you get that list? Oh right, the list referenced in the article. The laws were introduced, as the article said as everyone was focused on the gun control debate. Nothing said they passed. These are all real bills/laws they are currently trying to implement. The only thing fake is your claims that it didn't happen.

SB 399 Presidential electors; National Popular Vote Compact.
"Under the compact, Virginia agrees to award its electoral votes to the presidential ticket that receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia."

SJ 6 Constitutional amendment; Governor's term of office (first reference).
"Permits a Governor elected in 2025 and thereafter to succeed himself in office. The amendment allows two four-year terms (either in succession or not in succession) but prohibits election to a third term."
http://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp604.exe?201+cab+SC10108SJ0006+SBREF

Lets not focus on the totalitarian power grabbing nature of these bills, what is important is if you look at this in a very overly specific myopic way, this might be interpreted as "fake news". The fact that they are trying to pass these laws is meaningless of course ans should be totally dismissed.

The best strength that American people have is not being used by them. Their strength is to take any governmental people to court for threatening them with property stealing by government.

It's a direct threat to Americans for government to take any of their property away from them. The politician who is making laws to take their property is only a man/woman using a form of government leverage to steal their property. Take the government man/woman to court personally for using his government power to threaten to steal "my" property.

Common law court of record. CJS: Federal Courts: Section 744: Federal district Court.

Not american, but is this constitutional? Changing such law should not take effect right away, there has to be some time given and 25% is ridiculous.

I tried to watch the video but the Soros propaganda gave me tears

Thankfully there is still a system of checks and balance. The gun laws will go to the Supreme Court and most likely will be ruled unconstitutional. And the governor cannot take total power. What does "total power" mean anyway?
