what is the algo ? CPU ?

Found this in their Github:

Quote
 Scrypt proof-of-work algorithm
    60 second block time target
    ~21 billion total coins
8000 coins per block, reduces by 0.5% each week starting 2/28/14
    Difficulty retarget every 1 block

Probably 1 sat per coin

are you kidding me? 1 satoshi? So expensive!  Grin Grin

if we could get it on exchanges soon it could go to $7.16 to $30.00 USD A Virtacoin in 4 to 6 months this is my prediction I had $170,890 in my account before it change to virtacoin from virtapay now i have 23846.0768 VTA in my wallet $170,890 Divided by 23846.0768 equals $7.16 a coin anyways so it has a far chance to make us long time members some real finally money thanks alot for your info too

You must be new to the crypto scene, that $170,890 in your virtapay account had no value, hell monopoly money has more value. With your valuation you would have a Market cap 10x that of bitcoin. Your $170,890 funny money=23846.0765 VTA*1 sat/coin=23846 sat= $0.1546 (bitcoin value taken from preev.com).

Good luck with those 15 cents.
