Well I was in this from time ago spent a fair few months sponsoring people into it then you decided to make a coin and only give like 14% back into coins. I had earnd over or close to the $200,000 yes that's 200k in USD for you to then cut down to and many others of a stock of 14%

VirtaPay has now been converted into a crypto-currency, like bitcoin. The new system, called VirtaCoin, will completely replace the old VirtaPay.
All user balances have been successfully transferred into the new system. First off their was nothing under the TOS or agreement that you where going to do a stock cut and slice and get shafted for hard work put into the site. Seems a total waste of time and effort. TO come out with 28,000 or so coins give or take a few is worthless given the market value and to be honest I cant see this going anywhere unless you can prove yourself and actually compensate people like myself and many others I know who did this. I done this out of free time but then again was a risk because it was free wasn't even expecting to get anything in return because every site you did in the past didn't even last or pay anything out I like to waste time on these sorts of programs to see where my VIRTUAL BALANCE CAN CLIMB TO. So far your in my top 10 list of earning sites that you are in 6th place for $200k to be worthless.

Also before being named Virtacoin formally known as Paybox and paygo followed from the very early days when this was making claims of doing individual sets of tasks each day adding people to your downline logging in to gain points virtual goods to buy and sell and cash then soon turned into Virta pay for the past few years and now moved into Virtacoin. I don't see how generating over close to $200k and getting slapped with 14% gain and given coins in return is actually worth it 14% of 200k is a lot and to be honest is dam right scam id prefer if you paid me 200k coins or even 200k$

It seems that all peers in peers.dat are not available since
some days, i just tested a fresh install of virtacoin-qt and it
can't connect to sync. the wallet.

Try to add following nodes to your ~/.virtacoin/virtacoin.conf
file:

These are active connected nodes my virtacoind has.
Make sure that port tcp 22816 is not blocked by firewall.
At the moment there seem to be no IPv6 peers available too.
