Sorry, please read the rules & how to apply again.

You are on a good track but still need to improve. You should diversify the areas where you post and post content that can catch the attention of more users.

Oh okay, I hope my replies will hit the mark!

Although I dont believe I have any outstanding posts, as I try to be consistent with them, I'll link two recent ones, and one that I felt was helpful. But its up to you to judge if its worth the merit.

You have a lot of contradictory/not researched enough information in your posts. Cannot send merit for that.
The good thing is that you're using good English in them and avoiding pointless mega threads but you should work on researching your posts better.

Please read the rules & how to apply again.

Mind if i try your service pal.
I don't know if it deserves merit but atleast i can get some advice from you and know where i'm lacking.ciao

Your detective work is good! Merited! Smiley You got your first merit Wink
Suggestion: Try to explore more sections of this forum and add sources to your posts.

You are on a good track but your post history is very scarce. I could not find more consistent/well researched posts.
Put the work into your posts and you will receive merit.

I did like your info graphics but apart from those and some local posts you literally only have endless bounty posts. This is a big no no.
You need to improve the amount of work you put in your posts and be more involved in the forum.

Can I have some try to this?
...{posts quoted not linked}...

Please read the rules & how to apply again.

Hmm...it is doubtful I am a merit source, or I'd assume someone would have told me...but will look and see if any sMerit above and beyond is added in a few days.

In order for you to be a merit source you need to apply for it by selecting 10 posts created by others and quoting them in a new topic created in the Meta section.

As theymos said here:
If you want to be a merit source:
 1. Be a somewhat established member.
 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.

I think you would qualify to be a merit source if you want to be one Smiley

As far as I know...LEGENDARY status has no real need for sMerit or Merit in just to hand them out maybe...and was already at Legendary....thus why I never was paying much attention and missed
the running total of sMerits on the page I was handing the stuff out on ..for posts.......

Yes, indeed, legendary users were not affected in anyway by the implementation of the merit system but you can decide who gets to rank up by awarding merits Wink

again, too much drama in crypto and I don't need merit to 'level up' anymore....so I don't think it really helps my Legendary status ..except to pass the stuff out as I can

Agreed, this week is a bit hard for crypto owners but I think this was expected since it seems like before every large holiday everybody starts to sell coins for FIAT. See the Christmas bear trend.
Should bounce back after the Orthodox Easter Smiley

Clueless!

confused...there is merit...is the sMerit stuff that the higher ups hand out for folk to pass around more than usual?

confused on how the whole thing works...I hand out merit occasionally...but again sMerit is something else right?

(unsure of the process)

You can find more info on it here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-new-rank-requirements-2818350

SMerit stands for sendable merit. These are the ones you can hand out when you think a post deserves it.

Merit is the merit each person has received that shows up on their profile. It is needed to rank up on the forum.

It is covered to a rediculous amount in meta.

If you click on the merit button it will tell you how much sendable merit you have, above where it gives you the option to award merit.

Hope that helps

EDIT: each month you receive a certain amount of smerit to hand out. also there is no benefit to holding or hoarding it.

Actually, you will receive sMerit under these conditions:
  • Monthly, but only if you are a merit source.
  • When you receive Merit from someone, you will automatically get half of it as sMerits (spendable merits)

I don't get why you deliberately don't include sources in your posts? People would like to know where you get your info from, there are a lot of blogs/shady crypto news websites that are 'fake news' prone. Also, your English could be improved, sometimes it's hard to follow your though process although your logic is good.

You mainly post in mega threads, increasing the spam, one of your posts is on page 60, another on page 41...  Not to mention the endless bounty posts. Nothing to review here. Sorry.

You have endless bounty posts. One would think this account was created just for that...
Although I do like you're posting a lot in the altcoin sections, you still need to improve.

Hi Vlad, thanks for this service.

I'd like to request a review for my post:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.33327582

Much appreciated.

You do not qualify since the post has already received merit.
I do like what I'm seeing in other posts, you're on a good track. Smiley

I am glad that there are still available free service that offering like this for merit review. Please review my post if it is qualified for your preferences and requirements. If anything something to improve with my posts, i am open for any feedback from you to help keep to augment my quality of posting. Thank you in advance.

You have some English deficiencies but I still can understand what you're trying to say so, that's good.
You have good logic in your posts but you still need to improve the quality to receive merit.
Try to cite sources in your posts, try to find something that you know a lot about and create a more consistent thread about it that others can find useful.

I like that you're determined to catch my attention Smiley
Your proposals regarding the merit abuser penalties are good and your detective work is very good! Merited!

I'm not here to ask for post review, I kind of stumbled onto this thread somehow as I was reading about Merit topics.  Anyways,  I just want to say that it's a noble thing you are guys are doing to help members earn sMerit.  Not many people are willing to spend their precious time doing good deeds with possibly nothing in return.  So keep up the good work and perhaps once I'm able to come out with 3 really good quality posts of my own I would return to this thread and ask for a review.

Thanks for the kind words! Smiley Post here when you have them and I'll definitely take a look.

I like your art work! Smiley These are very useful for new members to understand what's it all about and that can only be good news! Merited!
Suggestion: I see you mainly post in your local boards, that not bad but I would like to see some of your ideas in the English forums as well.

Done with page 2! Will review page 3 later. Smiley

Last question...is the sMerit also under my merit total? I show some like 167 sMerit to send out...or does that just limit the tally ..where I found the sMerit at 167 sMerit?

hmmm...I suppose I will just send some and see if the 167 number goes down.....(doing such) ok ..yep it went down to 166 now

thanks for the clarification...sent you some Smerit for this thread as you requested...
