As an "investor", you should really be bloody furious about your measly 5% for your "old veltor"...

The Veltor Team have demonstrated that they are a bunch of arrogant muppets who are not worthy of a single satoshi.

This is a blatant money grab....

PS: Why the moderated thread? If it's unofficial, you should really open an unmoderated one. While I appreciate your were an old investor, I was as

well. I took a massive loss on Veltor but that's part and parcel of the game. If you opened this thread to try and salvage your "investment", then you really should be hanging your head in shame because the Veltor team are just out to line their own pockets. I know you've done very well with some of your investments. You really should not be shilling for these scammers.

Veltor was a coin with no development fund. All of a sudden the price spikes to multi millions and the dev were supposed to develope the project without funds?

I think they had no choice but to announce the ICO asap. I lost coins, but I am also buying more at the moment. I think the team is very open about their plans, but I also agree that 5% is really a bad offer. If it would have been higher the coin would not have crashed like it did.

The current market cap is 170k. That means total market cap is 3.5 million. That's a lot. I also hope the team will reconsider their offer and set it to 10% or 15%. It's a fair deal. Don't forget that the value of Alvslor will be much higher than veltor, as it is a coin with bigger ambitions and an actual development budget.

Untill the ICO I just wait and build up my stake. At current price there is not much to lose. They promised the announcement of big partnerships.

I know the devs closed down the original Veltor discussion thread. However, I am still an investor and I'd like to keep the discussion going.

The offer for Veltor to Alvalor

Veltor will do an initial coin offering in Q3-Q4 2017 in order to distribute the Veltor tokens created by the launch of the new client codebase. The foundation aims to raise between €5 and €20 million (the minimum and maximum will be somewhere in that range). The funds will be used to accelerate development, to sponsor research and to create the Donar Network, a revolutionary blockchain platform.

80% of the tokens will be distributed to ICO investors, while 20% of the tokens will be granted to the foundation, including 5% of the total supply which will be swapped in direct exchange for old Veltor tokens. It will give early investors a chance to keep their initial investment reasonably intact in terms of absolute value. We can't deny, though, that it will significantly dilute their share of the total market capitalization.

Here is the full announcement of this offer
