Someone I respect recently told me I seem like a different person lately and it's true. I'm in a career change and it's not going well.
The last two months I have been studying Object Orientated Programming (before I used to do procedural programming). The end result will be a certification from Microsoft in the C# programming language. I'll be moving my business to 100% programming down from the 20% it is now.
I get frustrated studying (I'm not learning as fast as I was even 10 years ago) and I come back to the forum and the frustration follows me. This causes stress, which in turn, causes me to have more distractions while studying. It's a negative cycle that has to stop right away if I can even hope to meet my time goals.
I won't be logging into the forum (even to check messages) as any news on what's going on here will get me hooked and stressed all over again. I plan on coming back only when I get my Microsoft certification, which should be March or April.
In the meantime I'd ask other default trust members to continue to be vigilant when dealing with newbies, ponzi operators, etc.. all the things I used to handle.
There are a few of you I'll miss chatting with but mostly, this forum has become a waking nightmare to me since I started studying.
Thanks for reading guys, and I'll see you in a couple months!

Good luck VOD, but I think you're making a mistake by focusing on C#. You should really switch over to java or C++ as the concepts you'll have to learn are the same but you won't be locked into a proprietary class hierarchy---your programs will be cross platform. I know there's mono for linux but in general C# and windows is a sorta a sinking ship these days.
