Active Miner is a "virtual identity" with a London mailing address and Belize registration.

All of these details are openly published by ACtM - that's how you know about them!

What point are you trying to make anyway? I mean most btc operations are registered offshore because of the uncertainty about how regulators view the new btc phenomenon. Your point is a nonsense.

btw everyone this guy has Trolled the ACtM thread for months now, almost everyday, he's a paid Troll from a competing company. All you need to know.

Still buthurt about this?

You really are deleting comments. I saw someone mention that earlier and now their message has been erased. That's really not cool.

All I said was it wasn't cool. They've started around 5 threads today alone. Most have been binned elsewhere by moderators, and they start a new one. You kind of have to accept in a forum a manufacturer is allowed one official thread in a non-manufacturer owned forum and put up with people's comments good, or bad, that's how it works here. Allow individuals to make their own mistakes.

I love it when censorship blows up in the face of a paid shill. I suspect many of the folks defending VMC are also shareholders, so buyer beware!

Volcanic & Bargraphics are -- Volcanic pulled an interesting backroom share transfer from Bitfunder to burnside's, paying $5K for the privilege, as i understand.
Yes, these individuals are heavily invested.

This company is very very strange. I also had the same problem (see: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/kslaughter-and-zumzero-from-actm-and-vmc-are-deleting-legitimate-posts-253282) I don't understand this fucked up logic of self-moderated posts, unless they just want to attract more fools.

Actually it's to keep those like yourself from posting nonsense. You are a big boy, read what is in the post, form your own opinion, either purchase or don't. You keyboard warriors feel entitled to letting everyone know just how you feel at every moment after reading a thread.

Give it a break, you just look like a douche.

Active Miner is a "virtual identity" with a London mailing address and Belize registration.
Active Mining advisory board has quit in disgust, as the shares tanked.
The shares are currently trading near the IPO, like a bloated corpse bobbing lazily just beneath the surface.
The company's finances are completely opaque, the management team -- Ken's kinfolk.

From BTCT Company Details:

"Office Address:

Active Mining Corporation (Belize)
95 Wilton Road
Suite 3
London
SW1V 1BZ
United Kingdom
Fax: +44 (0)20 3004 1756 [good luck Cheesy]

Active Mining Corporation (Belize) Management Team:

Kenneth E. Slaughter, CEO/CTO
Gerald L. Slaughter, COO/CFO
Micha Slaughter, VP Manufacturing Operations"

Self-moderated pimping is the last resort.

This issue has been discussed many many times before.  That is generic, and can house many different products.  ASUS only designed whats inside, just as VMC is doing.

Advertisements are not accepted in the thread, as our focus should be on VMC.  Surely you can understand that.  If self-moderated threads were not allowed, then I would be doing something wrong.  Smiley

VMC only accepts Bank wire, Check and BTC, which are all non-refundable payment options, so the buyer has zero recourse if they either deliver late or not at all.

Caveat emptor!!!

The funds from preorders are used to directly fund the manufacturing of the device.  This is why they cannot be refunded -- once you pay, your money is in the hands of the manufacturer for building your product.  This is how the preorder business works.  If there are any defects with the machine itself, it will be replaced.
Like I have said before, if a company had a highly profitable bitcoin miner on hand, they would never sell it to you.  The high rewards of a preordered product will be the only chance of the customer making a successful ROI.  You are directly paying for the manufacturing of the machine, and once its assembled you own it.

This is all I have to say on this matter.  Please direct any further questions in the appropriate thread.

I would address further questions to the appropriate thread but you keep deleting my posts.  Angry

Do you offer any sort of on-time delivery guarantee? Will you compensate customers in any way if you deliver late?

I'll go to Vegas if I want to gamble.

Sorry, with over 2PH coming online in the next 8 weeks, I will not be doing any pre-orders.   Have a shipping product or my money stays with me.   Tongue

If any company had a highly profitable Bitcoin miner on hand, they would never sell it to you.  Your best bet is a preorder because your funds are going to the actual manufacturing of the hardware, which belongs to you as soon as its put together.

Deleted my post too.. I was simply asking "Since when is it anyones best bet" to preorder hardware anymore...

I see the VMC spam campaign is in full force...

Just trying to keep it clean.. you can keep the heated arguments in other threads such as this one.

Again Mr. Toolbag - why on earth do you consider preording everyones "best bet"Huh?

Here is my post that got deleted:

Pre-orders suck.

I'll order from you if you accept credit card payments and have a competitive, in stock product that will ship within one business day.

Otherwise, move along, there is nothing to see here.

VolanicEruptor, does VMC accept paypal or credit card payments? It's not obvious from your website, and if the answer is no, the buyer has absolutely no recourse and deserves to know that. You get money now, and THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL THE RISK.

You have not demonstrated a working product and strongly imply in your post that you will be able to deliver orders placed now in November.

Folks need to read the fine print before placing an order (note the whopping 10 day warranty).

FINAL SALES RETURN POLICY--NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES/REPLACEMENTS

No Refunds
No Exchanges
No Replacements
No Returns

This company is very very strange. I also had the same problem (see: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/kslaughter-and-zumzero-from-actm-and-vmc-are-deleting-legitimate-posts-253282) I don't understand this fucked up logic of self-moderated posts, unless they just want to attract more fools.

And yes the avalanche of new thread regarding VMC seems very very strange to me. Now it seems that the new shill is VolanicEruptor. kslaughter paid a dude to create random self-moderated threads for his company. Way to go!

Like I said, post legitimate questions/opinions in the thread and I will be happy to answer them.  Anything overly negative or rude will be frowned upon and dealt with accordingly, just like the real world.

I you mean my post, I deleted it myself.

I thought about posting to tell him to delete my post and his response and my posting asking him to delete, then figured it was simpler just to delete my post and hope he'd take the hint and delete his response to it.

(Since all I had posted originally was pointing out he forgot to provide a link; once that was provided in the first thread the posts about it not being there became a waste of space.)

Buyer beware. You have been warned.

I don't delete posts with legitimate questions.  Negative childish behavior such as "Duuuuude ,preorders suck man!" will be cleaned up.  I apologize, but it is necessary.
