Honestly, I am afraid this conversation is now pointless, specially if I need to explain why there is no reason a person, company or country which is rich is supposed to hand money over to anyone for them to be impressed by it, it does not make any sense.

I think that is what he means too because he mentioned that the worst candidate will be “bad for us but good for the rest of the world” and we know that Trump is part of the republican party list which their slogan is literally Make America Great Again
meaning Trump and his team will be focusing more on their country and maybe not so as much to other countries.

Some americans may only think of how this election can impact themselves (I think they should they are the ones living in the country after all) but some may also think of how this election will be impacting other countries.
