I have also tried searching for VR products in my city but I have not seen any stores selling anything related to it. But online I can see prices going up to more than $1200. That's more than I can spend on my rent so nope. With Metaverse, there could be a massive demand for VR products.
Well this is the big problem when metaverse comes --how about those small-time gamblers that only can afford 20$-$100 per day. They cant afford to buy VR products which are for now it is quite very expensive. Perhaps the market price of VRs products will down if there are a lot of suppliers that have made competitions. It is rare even in my place, you cannot buy it easily in any department stores, it could be in online e-commerce but we don't know the quality of the product, imitation from the original one could be there.

Not that really expensive for those 1st world countries that are always first in these technologies. Well, during the releasing time, they would certainly go up with the price as it is new in the eyes of every consumer.

But eventually, when the demand gets lower, price will also become lower. I've seen about the news of Disney that they'll launch also a metaverse/vr world without the use of any gadget as requirement, this could also be applicable into VR casinos soon.
Hmm, you're right @jossiel, unfortunately the country where I live these types of products are extremely expensive, and they become totally unfeasible to purchase at their launch.

I believe VR technology will be successful soon, places, video games, poker, casinos and other relevant subjects and games!

It's not just going to be useful for casinos and games, I think it can be a tool also just as what I have read today which a Turkish farmer tries virtual reality for more cow's milk.  Grin

exactly , this will be try and enjoy for a while but of course there is no other way to enjoy gambling by betting actual and of course in real casino houses.

VR gambling will be attractive for newbie or young generation but the classic gamblers will always seek for more fun full than this kind.

That experience can not replace with anything, even with VR in gambling, because that experience gives us the reality that we can touch, real touch with our hand and see with our eyes. It will bring a new experience and feeling to all generations, not just the young generation. But some old generations still prefer to have the old experiences because they can seek more fun using the real experience with their hand, eyes, and emotion. It can not be said with the word because only our feeling can feel that.

The gadgets yet are not cheap that's why we couldn't just put ourselves right there in that Metaverse. No stores nearby that you probably could check VR equipment yet. But if they could be bought casually like a smartphone today, we may be able to find some users here trying it in gambling.
Those gadgets are cool and nice to have. This isn't for everyone but if you're a gambler and you want to explore something new, this is for you. You just have to spend some bucks on it and you have to save for it but if you're good with the current setting as you gamble, no one is forcing to purchase those gadgets for the vr.

But I suppose more gamers are going to be using it not on gambling. I'm not very sure but how different is VR from Augmented Reality?
Yes, it's more for the gamers but it's for everything where it is applicable. AFAIK, VR = Augmented reality, they're just the same cmiiw.

I saw recently Decentraland dapps that has a metaverse casino while browsing the Internet about available Web 3 casino. The video was updated last 2021 and I don't know what's the current status of the actual game but they are focus on metaverse which you can gambling. The game has a high chance to have a VR feature considering the metaverse direction towards VR compatibility.

I guess the only thing that we have to do is to wait for it and eventually we will be able to see it. Metaverse gambling spaces are an inevitable thing to happen so it's all just a waiting for everyone else. I'm not familiar with the Metaverse right now but with this, I might subscribe to stories about it. I hope that it will be able to pull off amidst the disbelief of many that it's going to be a flop.
Apparently, it has been started already, some had used it by now. I really expected this to be in high demand just for curiosity but this might end up shortly after realizing that actual gambling is truly entertaining than having this VR. That is my opinion.

As the gambling industry keeps growing and fast, we gonna think about more developments coming next just to upgrade and deliver satisfaction to the players. And this VR is somewhat new and could attract people to try and possibly live it.

this is one development for gambling and actually this is how the world runs now with VR(virtual Reality) but the majority of gambler is still classical .

Metaverse itself seems like a gimmick. Why would anyone care about the Metaverse when we already had it way before? To me it seems like a marketing scheme from Zuckerberg to make something popular. Same with 3D TVs, remember those? I don't know why we pretend like this is something new and modern.

VR gambling sounds interesting but as mentioned, it is really complicated to code. I prefer the real world version. Its way better.

I remembered those 3D stuffs being a major marketing disaster. Costs so much yet posed a major inconvenience to the public, especially those already wearing glasses.

Great to see someone actually try the game. I think this is the main reason why Decentraland become hot right now. The game looks promising but I don't have time to research more and invest on it due to my tight schedule at work and heavy bags of shitcoins already. I believe they will implement there VR once there will be a strong demand on it.

AFAIK, They will introduce its VR feature on there upcoming roadmap.

Indeed where you live, anyway, in the future the gambling world will use this, but until now the price is still very expensive.
Yes, you're right @nigthcrowd, I believe that even in developed countries these types of products must be expensive.
But I believe that all over the world these types of accessories have gone up in price, I believe because of inflation and massive printing of money around the world
(Of course this was not the determining factor, but it caused this increase in products/services).

I believe the Metaverse has a promising future for gambling in particular and I am confident that it will revolutionize the online gambling scene.
Metaverse gambling seems like a gimmick currently to be honest since majority of the gamblers will always prefer the traditional version over the virtual one. It's like FIAT vs crypto basically.

However, this trend could actually reverse if there were cheaper ways to access metaverse gambling which I doubt will ever happen.

I think the real experience we get by going to a casino is the most sensational thing than using a VR to get artificial sensation of the gambling casinos.
But yeah, since the pandemic most of the stuff have gone online and people are adapting this change very quickly.
These days, many people find it comfortable to work from home instead of working from office.
So may be people will start liking VR casinos as well instead of going to a real casino.

You have a point. Although, I think people would still think that the actual physical experience in a traditional casino is still the best, they perhaps could see VR casino as the next best option they could have. People are indeed getting comfortable in their homes and have adjusted to how things are being done today, digitally, and so VR casino can be the ideal option for everyone while considering the availability of best platforms and their safety.

I do not use VR to play gambling or other activities because, according to this article https://www.gamblingsites.com/online-casino/virtual-reality/, you need $399 to buy the equipment and people who do not use VR, they will not buy that because that is too expensive for them. They can still play gambling without using any equipment and enjoy the games. Maybe if the VR equipment can reduce in the future, they will try to buy it to feel a new experience playing gambling using VR equipment.

I haven't played in any such platform. Searching for it I got to know about a platform Slots Million. Looks like it doesn't accept cryptocurrency. From the article it is mentioned about 40 VR games are available since 2014. I don't know how far this is true. In some locations the casinos seems to provide this service, but through online gambling sites it isn't an easy thing to make things work with perfection. Because there is certain requirements for the flawless functioning, but users will try even without that. This will create issues on the user end making complaints over the platform.
Got it, thanks for your feedback @Vaskiy and @ipanks !!

Well, I don't have much knowledge about this technology, because it is very scarce in the country where I live and extremely expensive.
But I'm going to research something on the internet regarding VR usage.

I believe that in the future this type of technology will be more accessible to everyone.

Indirectly, with the innovation called the metaverse, there are more and more business opportunities, especially online.
With this, gambling using VR will indirectly create an experience that will indeed be different from the real world and this will definitely make gamblers start to feel a different sensation than usual which will make this gambling more attractive.

The sensation when playing for real by playing online will indeed be different but as you said because we can't know what will happen, including the pandemic that does require a lockdown.
besides that technology will also definitely be more sophisticated and will make it easier for people to move in any case including gambling.
Now the metaverse is in the hype trend and gambling is sure to get into this too.

I cannot help myself but to get excited with this concept. If this VR technology will really push  through to become fully integrated gambling industry, it is what can fill the gap that arose in terms of the physical experience ever since the pandemic happened. VR casino could be the way for us to have similar experience as before, but in digital version, nevertheless it could really simulate real-life gambling experience. I am one for sure to look forward for the progress of this, and will be happy to try it as soon as I could.
