Sorry, it's amazing how easy it is to forget to post when you receive yours.

I received my three on July 6.

Two are performing at 600 mhash/s

and one is performing at 400 mhash/s

looking forward to upgrading them... don't see the point in trading them in for replacements before October.

So all 3 of your units totally suck?  You sure those numbers are right?

Yes, my first unit that showed up a few months back has been running 800+ just fine for a while, but the three new units I got are underperforming.

As I mentioned, I guess I don't care that much as long as ButterflyLabs delivers my ASIC SC singles in October.

I'm in Rome at the moment.  The units seem to be running even slower as I left the Air Conditioning set pretty high (not worth it to possible have them run faster while I'm gone).

For 4 BFL single units plus a factory clocked 5970, I'm seeing a total of about 2Gigahash plus or minus 200 mhash.

I'm thinking 650 mhash for the 5970 GPUs, 650 mhash for my first BFL Single and 350/350/000mhash for the latest 3 BFL singles given the high temperature of my house.

I will be back home next week.  I want to get a second computer up & running so I can give these things some more space.  I'll let you know if anything is different on the second computer, but I'm not exactly expecting anything great.

Your Singles are getting only 350 mh/s??? You need to reflash those with a slower firmware  Wink

My Single was getting only 450 mh/s until I flashed the 768 firmware, now its up to 760 mh/s.My room is 80 F,too hot to run faster versions  Sad

Yeah, did you do that using Auto-tune in the EastMiner program?  I read about that a couple days ago and will be trying that once I get home.  I've been in Europe on vaca for 2 weeks.

Unit 1 – throttles at the lowest speed firmware and hangs, testing is giving “unknown error #2, the unit did not process any nonces!

Take of the casing and make sure the heat sink is secured down.

Yea. This unit has very loose screws. I opened it up and everything looks tight. No loose heat sinks.

Another odd thing is the temp reads 30C. Way too low.

No, it isn't.

The spec is 832 plus or minus 10%.

Oh yea. Forgot to check the fine print. Guess that leaves one for RMA.

I owe my soul to the Bitcoin code...
ordered 4 units on 05/10/12
shipped               07/18/12
received              07/20/12

All work at above 800 M/s
but the documentation sheet said they are all revision 1.  Old documentation?

Yes, that is the document that was originally produced by BFL and never updated.

Bitcoin - helping to end bankster enslavement.
Davinci,
I know you are from Canada too, did they charge you HST/PST or any other tax?
Did they keep them in the customs at all?

Nope, but usually they bill you after.  It did get held up for a while in customs but it was released without me doing anything.  If the bill me I will need to look up a code that makes it tax free, I sure that items that are manufactured in the states that are not sold by a retail outlet are tax free.

Have they ever shipped a unit within 48 days of receiving payment?
From the evidence available on this thread, they have never honored their statement of four to six weeks.

You give them your money up front and they will deign to ship you something, someday, probably.

They almost got there and then they ran out of cases and it set them back.

What's going on with BFL's shipping? I thought they were supposed to be getting through their backlog of orders, but the lead times have been increasing lately.
