So, looking at the charts and was feeling let down. Wondering who/why and then decided it really didn't matter. It is what it is. Then pulled up a one day plot at Stamp. Feeling better when I noticed that only one month ago we were at ~8600. Bouncing above 10k doesn't feel so bad now.

I don't see what would be the point to burn bridges.  If you have an account, and now you no longer want an account, is that what you were doing?  In my book, it's usually preferable to attempt to keep your options open.

Sadly in my youth no one in my family had their own birthday. Ours were all combined on one very special day.

I read more carefully the offer on Localbitcoin (sorry I cannot find the link any more).
The offer was about RTGS, the local currency officially pegged to USD 1:1, but apparently with an higher exchange. So probably the guy was trying to sell bitcoin and cash in a fiat shitcoin at a more convenient rate of around 6.6.
So to recap:
In Zimbabwe you can buy bitcoin selling USD@11,400
Or
You can buy bitcoins selling RTRS officially worth 1:1 with bitcoin, but in reality a way more convenient 6.6 (convenient firstly the seller, of course, I don’t have any clue which is the real exchange rate).
