Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
the essence of the reality of the matter is that an overwhelming majority of people do not really know bitcoin beyond having had heard the name, so anyone making suggestions, including Traxo, that everyone knows about bitcoin is engaging in a kind of exaggeration that is not even close to our actual facts on the ground situation.

Do not put words in my mouth which I never spoke.

I actually specifically said "heard about" it - as in heard the term "bitcoin".

Everyone heard about bitcoin by now.
"heard about" or "know about"?

I haven't met anyone since 2017 who hasn't heard about something called "bitcoin".
And mostly they know it's some type of a currency.

My point still stands, and you are bat shit crazy if you actually believe that people know about bitcoin... which is the main relevant point.. why the fuck else talk about it... you are merely trying to suggest that adoption is widespread, and it is not.. that is the relevant point.

.. so who cares whatever the fuck you actually said because your implications are clear, you are leaving a kind of implication that many people know about bitcoin and they do not.... so don't be getting conveniently caught in technical details about what you said when it is sufficiently clear that you are spouting out inaccuracies.. because the essence of what you are saying seems to be a purposefully misleading statement because it suggest inaccurate facts about adoption and/or opportunities for adoption, which is surely not even close to the case.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

What's up Wall Observers,

Just a heads up to any new investors. Don't panic sell, hold on to those precious coins. A drop like this is nothing unusual. In every bull-run we've had several 20-30% corrections, just to reach new heights.

Let me share you a story about my first bull-run back in 2012, when BTC went from ~$5 to $266. I bought in at around $10. When my BTC had doubled or so in terms of fiat value, I thought it would be a great idea to diversify some, so I bought a 0.5 oz gold coin for 60 BTC and 40 BTC worth of silver. If I would have hold on to those BTC, the same amount would have given me 400 oz gold bar today (thanks Gyrsur for your updates).

Don't be like me back in 2012. Hold on to your coins. We are still very early in, in this bull run.

Cheers,
Krubster

Brightburn was awesome !!!!!!

I didn't think so, as it was just an inverse, complete replica copy of superman, almost to the point where you could predict what would happen next every second of the movie.  The entire movie was derivative in nature and couldn't stand on it's own two feet unless people already knew of the Superman story in the first place.  It was a cheap, Weird Al parody marketed as a serious movie - not exactly the definition of awesome.

Tend to agree with JJG.
My vote is the same as yours, and almost always I am wrong

Why can I not give negative merits.

In Japan at least, there have been plenty of front page news stories about Bitcoin.   I bet almost no one here knows about Enron.

I never mentioned Enron, r0ach did.
In fact, he could said "silver" there, instead of "Enron", lol.

Sorry it is still early morning for me!   I better get some coffee and check the price of BTC.

It's an idiot scam chart.  The price of Bitcoin cannot go to $225,000 with cost of production at $3-6k.  NOBODY would buy a coin from you for $200,000 when they can simply mine one for $3-6k instead.  And Bitcoin mining can't increase by something like an order of magnitude to buffer that cost of production or it would use more power than the entire United States.  As I said before, the Bitcoin pump and dump scam is butting up against the limits of the natural world.  The fact that it's ramming up against the limits of the natural world and mining can't really even expand significantly more should tell you how insane of a bubble it already is.

That is the lamest argument!
1) Production cost of BTC is always changing and mostly climbing up.    When BTC is $225,000 the cost of producing it will much much higher than $3000 to $6000 USD.
2) The current cost is in the $3000 to $4000 range but BTC is trading at over $10000.   Why do people trade it when they could mine it so much cheaper?

This is not OK.
We should definitely listen to proudhon’s price predictions.

What'd I tell you guys. These next few days will be the last time anyone will ever sell bitcoin above $10,000.

Edit: Confirmed

I agree. Nobody will ever sell bitcoin after the next few days.

Convert and spend. Do not sell.

 Elwar!!  Welcome back.

Well played.  I keep toying with the idea of getting back into trading, but I worry that I'll be sloppy because I was able to so easily collect so many coins in the fall from $32 to $2.  In a sense, that sloppiness is why I lost 150-170 coins in Bitcoinica.  It didn't feel like I was risking anything, but I don't want to fall into that trap again, which is why I moved everything offline for a while.

buy sell hold

good move

In the days of the run-up to $15.xx I was convinced a crash was coming and wanted to move everything to MtGox to take advantage of it, but (1) all my coins were offline without any digital copies, and (2) I was out of town and had no way to access my paper wallets.  That's the trade-off I consciously made, of course.  And there's no way to know that if I hadn't done that I wouldn't have lost a bunch in trading throughout the year.  But my certainty of the impending crash this go around has me feeling a measure of regret in getting so protective.

 You funny.

We hit $3,250 last spring.

So fucking what? Why does it mean we'll have to revisit it again?

Maybe Wekkel has been imbibing too many of the juices of Tone Vays and Tyler Jenks and filling himself up with bearish hyperwave hopium?

You're misinterpretatising.

He predicted it. Then it happened. The chart was published December 2nd 2018.
