So, yep.. there can be a decent amount of factors to consider about what BTC price would potentially cause you to reach "fuck you" status with an ability to sustain such status without having to return to non fuck you status with your tail between your legs, and in spite of other possible then future happenings.

Libra is a basket of FIAT currencies as I understand it. The main point it can tout as a feature is a convenience online but I dont see its bearish for BTC as it wont nearly have the extent of BTC or be outside the ongoing depreciation of all major FIAT currencies vs inflation and real costs.

A last attempt downwards, sharp pin vs trend support and then moves into a 2,000 move up. Very unrestrained moves in this area I guess

I think it's sheer manipulation by some hodlers and nothing else. Trying to pick the top in advance is a recipe to exit and FOMO back in. Let the market take you out of your position, not the other way around.

Good advice from Hairy as usual.

Disclosure - I am actually manually adjusting a trailing stop on my long position, lifting it up as we go along.

I also have a short position (badly suffering of course), but it's small, so the net balance is green by a good deal.
My idea is - when it corrects, the stop will sell off enough of the long to remain slightly long on the whole, and I will cash out some profit. As (if) it keeps goes down, I'll also close the short a bit at a time, scraping off a little more.

If I were to close everything as it is now, it would be like ~+2.8% on my play money. I'm playing it very safe. Regular behavior would have made me like 5%, and with a little boldness it would be more like 10%.
