It will trade under the ticker $BTC and will come from a spinoff from $GBTC. Here’s the language around the spinoff. There is no fee disclosed yet orrr what % of $GBTC will spin off but pretty sure this will be a non-taxable event for a chunk of those shares to get into a cheaper and cost competitive product. https://twitter.com/JSeyff/status/1767531941060804830

It mostly matters for taxable accounts.
As I said before, GBTC was able to maintain a peg and was even at a slight premium on Mon, so I used that and divested 66% of GBTC in IRAs (into IBIT/FBTC 50:50), but kept a third in GBTC just in case if premium would rise. Feels good after at some point in 2022 being at a 49% discount.

Look for any og that holds serious coin this is huge.

A 2012 guy can easily have 100 coins

2021 6.90 million

2022 1.59 million at this point in time many people would struggle about the decision to have held

2024 7.30 million at this point those that have held may shave off some of the 100 coins they held just in case we crash and burn. But maybe 5%

those are serious swings and I am pretty sure more than one person here on the wo has coin like that.

Myself due to a lack of belief from 2012 to 2017 I do not have coin like that.

This is nice uptick for me. It is not life changing.

As exciting as the rally is, the biggest profit of all is the knowledge and experience that BTC can offer you, it's a REAL life-changing chance for people, a change of mindset... Purchasing power is just consequence

That's what I imagine, if I'm right, I don't know.
