You're never too old to think young.
Buenos dias Bitcoinland.

I see we've recovered a bit since the dip down under $5k... currently $5086USD/$6809CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

The battle for $5k rages on.
_____

Bad new for the superstitious... I'm sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to Mexico City.

This wasn't planned. My lovely Mexican GF is having a medical emergency and is flying up to MC from Cancun this afternoon to see the far superior doctors in MC. I want to be waiting for her at the airport when she arrives to take care of her.

Hopefully we'll get her fixed within a week and I can fly back up for a week or so before flying back down to Cancun on April 29 for my final dental work.

If she had a passport I'd be bringing her with me. While we're in the big city maybe we can get her one.

Good news for the superstitious... I'll be flying back up in early June for the rainy season and will be in Canada until probably November after the hurricane season.

Tow humble considerations:
  • 1. Good luck retrieving those in case of a genuine win.
  • 2. Something fishy here: there  is the article, then a slot of advertisement and below this reading:
"This is a paid-for submitted press release. CCN does not endorse, nor is responsible for any material included below and isn’t responsible for any damages or losses connected with any products or services mentioned in the press release. CCN urges readers to conduct their own research with due diligence into the company, product or service mentioned in the press release." (bold font mine)

So probably a borderline scam website.

I am not sure I understand the goals of libertarians. If they want to build their own country, they have to be able to defend it.

A small group of 40 - 50 heavily armed people will never do. A decent defense force means a large population and a taxation systems to support it. Gathering a large population is easy, you simply need to gather the world’s refugees and offer them something better.  You might even gain the support of Western governments if you promise to take their unwanted refugee claimants. Israel was invented to house Jewish refugees and the model is replicable.

But all you have done is recreate the existing state system, with taxes. And that doesn’t seem to be the point.

I think their utopistic point is that in a libertarian world, organisations would adopt sound money (say, BTC) instead of FIAT Money (money that can be printed at will to finance any implausible war a government would want to fight), every nation-scale war would be simply too dear to finance, hence the necessity of every national scale defense would be unnecessary.

F. A. Hayek once said: I do not think it is an exaggeration to say history is largely a history of inflation, usually inflations engineered by governments for the gain of governments.

Another important point is the fundamental difference regarding the approach. In the current system the approach is TOP DOWN: you have to pay taxes because the government decided you have to. In the second system you have to pay the “fees” because you exercise the option to join that particular community. The outcome of paying might be similar, but the underlying logic is totally different.

That’s an interesting point about wars being too expensive to fight. I will need to think about that further.

It is not entirely my work.
Theres' a lot about it in this excellent book:

The Bitcoin Standard: The Decentralized Alternative to Central Banking

I would suggest everyone to read it, bitcoiner or nocoiner.
Being a nocoiner after having read this book is acid test for stupidity stubbornness.

Academics teaching the controversy incidentally admit defeat not just for little fraud pricks such as Craig Wright, but for all fiat financial institutions.

...a valid signature does not automatically provide proof that the owner of the corresponding private key has produced the signature. Instead, it provides a guarantee that a holder of the private key has initiated the transaction. The use of a private key underpins the presumption that a transaction was authorised. In the context of cryptoassets, the notion of custody thus no longer refers to the direct holding of assets but to the secure storage of cryptographic keys. Despite this functional equivalence, it is far from straightforward that (exclusive) knowledge of a private key is equivalent for all purposes to legal possession.23

In order to dump coins one must have coins
Either Ayre knows something we don't, got conned, or he's preparing to break ties with CSW.

"This industry needs to grow up and Craig proving he is Satoshi is the only way past this Troll attack that is so bad for the industries reputation. He now has a duty to set the record straight for us all. The Trolls all know he is Satoshi hence the fear."

If Craig managed to convince Gavin that he was Satoshi what chance does a judge have? Looks like he's doubling down on proving to judge (but not public) that CSW is Satoshi. Best case judge laughs at them and throws them out, worst case they convince the judge but keep the evidence sealed from public, so we'd have a ruling from some low level judge saying CSW is Satoshi

Here is my take on what this tweet tells us and also about Calvin's relationship/partnership with Craig right now.

1. Calvin really believes Craig is Satoshi, but he is not 100 percent sure bc of course he knows Craig pulled out of the proof he promised.

2. Calvin is heavily invested in Bitcoin ShitVersion and its success so he has pushed aside any doubts about Craig being Satoshi for the sake of his ambitions and financial interests. Its always easiest to believe something is true if its what you want to be true.

3. Calvin has a lot of leverage with Craig because he is the money man in their endeavors. He has the real power in the relationship.

4. This tweet marks a huge turning point in their relationship.

5. Due to the immensely bad financial consequences of SV tanking over the delistings Craig's ego driven lawsuits cause, Calvin now is calling Craig out to come through with the cryptographic proof he promised. Thats why he calls it a duty now to set the record straight for "us all".

The tweet subtext is simply - "Im your fucking boss Craig and you cost me a shit ton of money so now I demand you stop the bleeding and prove to me and everyone else that you are Satoshi so SV can get be legitimized in the eyes of the crypto world and my heavy bags wont become worthless after a few more delistings.!"

We all know that Craig cant provide the cryptographic proof and doesnt have a million coins so this is the beginning of the end of the Craig and Calvin bromance. I predict soon they will be enemies, Calvin will defang Craig by defunding him, and of course Craig will lash out on Calvin like he does everyone else eventually. Craig is legit insane and its time someone opens up an investigation into his possible involvement of Dave Kleinman's untimely and early death bc I wouldnt put it past Craig to kill a friend(he may have actually killed Satoshi) for some private keys.

Good Morning !

Hi WO,s

This is the presentation format of the monthly statistics, it will be published on the last day of the month.

What data can we see?

- Replies Total of accumulated responses.
- Replies per Month.
- Total views per Month, the F5 key is onfire in the WO thread. Shocked
- Number of Pages per Month.
- Bitcoin price of the last day of the month.
- Percent of the price of Bitcoin closed on the last day of the month.
- Nº of Hats, if xhomerx10 sends me the number of hats they will also be part of the statistics.
- In the lower part the number of post and users deleted by the moderator.

I preferred to make a simple design with the necessary data to quickly evaluate the differences of each month and not a statistic with the typical accounting aspect, full of columns and partial with so many percent, I think a little color and some icons make the presentation more fun.

Added a bar graph of +/- Replies / $ BTC

I hope you like it.

The historical as a comment will be inserted in a quote, have a little patience, the history is more complicated to make.

(I am sorry for the English, in long texts I support myself with the translator and maybe there is some error in the publication.)

The monthly statistics will look like this, maybe with some change.

Very cool stuff, also to take the price and HATs into the stats Wink

Now are the HATs gonna be the ones that are created or each members first HAT, cause I keep a list of first HAT from all the members (but not the updated or renewed  HATs)....

it is a development and volume problem binance don't want low movement token/coin this listed in binance, binance want huge volume huge movement token/coin, i thing this token team do not contact regularly binance support or inactive token team.

-snip-

This is just an official reason they gave, but anyone who was following the previous trend's behind the BitcoinSV should know the real reason behind its delistment which is it claiming itself as Satoshi's real vision which is not true. Also Craig Wright claiming himself to be real Satoshi was putting lot of damage in the community.

It should be delisted from more exchanges in future as most of the claims on the social media follows.
