Everything is possible and unfortunately at this phase of development it's not us (users, hodlers) or the demand who control it but some entity(-ies) which manipulates it. If the price is still low the squeeze goes on...
We had a hype cycle and now we're paying for it - we do not need to resort to bogeymen to explain it.

Just remember Bitcoin is unpredictable. It can explode to 1m in a week and then implode back to 3k. Skies are the limit, but not everything is possible. Not in our lifetime that is. Tic toc.
