Think you’re right there man (bolded). The thing is we all just have to stay patient. We’ve seen before as we approach the halving prices slowly go up then anything between 6-18 months post halvening we grt a violent break upwards. I hope history repeats itself, trust me a lot of my life goals depend on it.

Edit - Bob, tell me to fuck off if you want but is your famous avatar an actual photo of yourself?

Before going back up, almost always go down to find the bottom and start climbing.
But it's Bitcoin, everything can happen. Wink

How do you know we haven’t seen the bottom already?

The next ATH is far away.

Most of us are willing to wait a number of years

This is the bottom, let's hope. Wink

This reminds me of 2015 a lot what we’re seeing at the moment. Hopefully as we enter Q2 of 2019 we begin to see a slow climb of upwards trajectory.

The low of ~$3,100 would be a draw down of 84%, peak to trough, assuming the low is already in.

Which would fit in pretty well with what we’ve seen during past bull to bear market cycles.

We choose to go to the moon
I don't want to sound whiny or anything, but.. homer, wouldn't it be easy for you to remove the white background? Smiley Looks better without it.

Well, normally I save my files as jpg because... I'm old.  There is no transparency for jpg and GIF doesn't have the level of colours I need so it would mean learning something new.  I'm not averse to learning but I think I'm getting to the point where learning something new comes at the expense of forgetting something (I've run out of the human cognitive equivalent of a computer's RAM) so it's really fear that keeps me from removing the white.  I'll try to grow a pair and learn how to adapt and remove the white.... but it might take some time Wink

Save as PNG, keep the transparency, easy.

Bitcoin Price Hits Record Sixth Consecutive Month of Losses

Quote
Bitcoin’s price fell for a record sixth consecutive month in January, after an early bounce to $4,000 failed to entice mass buying.

The leading cryptocurrency by market value closed yesterday at $3,413 on Bitstamp – down 7.59 percent from the monthly opening price of $3,693. Prices dropped 9, 6, 4.4, 37 and 7 percent, respectively, in the previous five months.

The second longest run of monthly losses dates back to 2011 when prices dropped 81 percent during the five months from July to November.

BTC has fared a little better in the last six months, with a 63 percent loss over the period.

For me, you have done a lot my friend. I am really happy with the image. If you can do the transparent background then it's a bonus for me. Either way I am happy.

Thank you a lot.

I know it feels like it's possible there might not have been enough pain to confirm the bottom...

But I just took a look back on an admittedly unconventional 3-day (rather than weekly) chart basis with 200 / 50 MAs plotted for the past few months.  Note 'death cross', heavy drop and increase in volume pattern from mid-Nov to early Dec.

Of course, as I am now pretty much back to fully all-in, this plays into my personal, biased requirement for confirmation that we've already seen the bottom - but it does look like a capitulation to me...
