We didn’t need an ETF to see the price close to $20,000 so I assume we won’t need one to touch the next ATH. Fuck the SEC & fuck authority. They fear the beast that bitcoin will become.

I hope you’re all buying whilst the price is this low gentlemen!

The question is in which direction do we head from here? How long this bearish sentiment will carry on?

Wrong question.

If we go up: well it's a good thing your assets have more value.
If we go down: well it's a good thing, your accumulation phase can be a bit longer and you'll accumulate more assets.

That's the good thing with BTC. No matter the direction, it's good news.

you just go to a bank and show your documents in person. they're not gonna scan or copy anything this way.

2. Can a bank keep copies of documents provided to verify a customer’s identity, in
addition to the description required under 31 C.F.R. § 103.121(b)(3)(i)(B), even if it is
not required to do so?

Yes, a bank may keep copies of identifying documents that it uses to verify a customer’s
identity.

I think it's safe to assume that some banks do keep scans. It's been ages since I opened an account, but I'm pretty sure they made photocopies of my ID.
well they don't do that here in the EU. yeah i've heard they sometimes try to, but then you could always refuse and simply go to another bank.
and now with GDPR, they have it even harder to ask for your data, they can't do much with it and you have to give explicit permission for anything they'd want to do with it.
so no scanning ids here.

50 was on the cards for a bit, but it's 60 Roll Eyes

Anyway it's too much to keep a stable 4$ price xD

I don't know who the hell buys at such price...
You KNOW the inflation is completely crazy on the first year... The first 2 years in fact.
What happens in your brain to buy at such time?
If you really like the tech maybe mine it, but don't buy it xD

All banks do that.

Have oppened accounts 3 weeks ago and you better believe they kept everything...
IDs, invoices, proofs of housing...

Yeah.. there are a lot of dumb asses out there that are deluded into a belief that ETH is kind of similar to BTC.  That is why they market or promote "crypto" items in ways that include ETH as if it were some kind of BTC equivalent.

If I translate your words into a picture... it will look like...

“People throw around ‘crypto’ like it’s a bad thing…

Guess what? Cryptography is at the foundation of protecting modern society, human privacy. It’s a fundamental tool of our cyber defenses. It’s a fundamental tool of every corporation."

...

“We see this as much more transformative even than the web. We think this has a long arc that will have a far greater impact on our civic institutions and our economic institutions.”

“The key thing with Bitcoin is it’s unique in its security and its scale. And this idea that we need a scarce, non-sovereign store of value that individuals can hold in a protected fashion, that’s attractive all around the world. And I think it will be increasingly attractive.”

It is not really directly translatable - as it does mean 'markers' but in context, it's more often markers on a map or graph, or signposts...

I think in English, you'd say 'losing your way' (I just edited my original post for clarity).  But I was trying to help you out, not him.  He's on my ignore list Wink

It's more like markings, or signposts.

Or in his case, perhaps 'marbles'.

I think its "markers" like you would place in a bet...at least thats how I interpret it. I like your second answer however.

*edit*
I was just trying to translate it into the nearest english colloquialism.

It is not really directly translatable - as it does mean 'markers' but in context, it's more often markers on a map or graph; points of reference or signposts...
