Honey badger just does not care
Well, it looks like everything is going according to the best scenario. Either this was the final drop (which I don't think so) or worst case we can go for a final capitulation FROM a higher price (ie: $4.5K to $3K) in January-March.

I also go for the second scenario because I suspect we haven't been able to accumulate enough at the bottom. Next time many will be prepared for a stronger faster bounce on huge volume.

This is fine.

We're still at the bottom. 85% down from ATH. You think peeps who bought at 3200 won't buy at 3900? Laughable. 3900 is still dirt cheap.

Why buy at 3900, when I'll be able to buy at 2900 soon?

I don't know about 2900, but I will be surprised if 3200 is not heavily tested again. We just touched it for a day, that's not how proper bottom looks like. There should be grind, there should be wall, and only then we can jump up from the bottom for good.

the owner said that the last month 50K travelled in and out the ATM

50K what?

Quote
now the owner talked to us and my first question was how can you guarantee that 10% profit each month on the investment?
so it works like transfer money or send BTC, cause he only works in BTC
then he daytrades and guarantee's 10% profit, so if i transfer funds and the month start he trades and makes 50% profit then each client gets 10% profit and the rest is for him the company etc, when the month end with loss or no 10% profit then he pays it from the company out.... i asked him what if i'm a big player and send you a big amount of BTC/fiat ... and your not able to give me mine 10% ? he said i don't accept anyone that i can't cover .... as strange as it is it seems a bit of legit thing right there ....
and if the company goes bad and he's company funds runs dry and can't cover the 10% profit anymore he would send everyone a mail and stop the collaboration with he's clients, every month everybody could make his decisions of staying in or going out, so no long term commitments

Unless you have full visibility into all the positions he is taking, then this is indistinguishable from First Pirate Bitcoin Savings and Trust. Tread very carefully. May be ponzi.

I am going to bring them a visit in the next days. Although they have a brick and mortar shop, nothing to find in our MinFin databases, so it can be a facade for another entity. Because I also could not find a VAT number or enterprise number. And the name in the proposed contract on their website for now only returns some retired Dutch veolia employee... .
So yes, at least the trading your money part is a bit flimsy... .
If you should find strong evidence that they are scammers, you might want to consider reporting them.
I know we generally aren't too gubermint-minded around here, but innocent people getting scammed out of their money is of course in and of itself a bad thing, plus it gives bitcoin a bad reputation.

I don 't know if I would report, I am not to gubermint indeed, or to the contrary even, I am in a fight with our taxman since 2012 lol. But sniffing them and finding out whether honest but naive, or scammers is important for me, if it were only to prevent innocent people falling in the scam. To many bad things already hampering BTC. (Not the level of Ver, Jihan&C° I know, but ok that is another dimension, not my class)  Cool

I actualy think he has good intentions.... but is a naive Guy that thinks he can do things that no one did before Roll Eyes
For sure, that is possible.  Maybe he has had success trading the markets, and he is now convinced he can keep doing it.
But 10% is a huge amount of profit to promise each month.  Sure, on high volatility months such as this one you could easily make that.  But who is crazy enough to promise 10%/month when the price is hardly budging?  Where is that profit going to come from?  He has to be incredibly naive to promise things like that.

If its too good to be true, it isn't true. Smells like scam.

For me (and most people here apparently), promises that crazy raise a lot of suspicion.

Youtubers are looking into bitcoin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zkUoFm6J-w

Now some of you may not know about this, but standard payment processors have been deplatforming some of the biggest political and cultural commentators lately. Alex jones had I think a few million subs, Sargon is closing in on a million, Jordan Peterson is talking about alternative solutions, and many others. Tens of millions of people around the world are looking into it as a result, and it will spread as the media just can not shut up about anything that annoys them. Bullish.

50K fiat worth, but all by 100-200 euro etc, it think its a lot for the first there in antwerp ... (so its just many customers buying BTC, like it ) Wink

and i'm not doing this or anything just cause its the first real house with something of BTC it made me curious and wanted to check it out....

i was just surprised when he said how its works in he's company there.... just the part when he said if he doesn't make 10% profit by the end of the month, that he paid from he's savings or previous profits etc

infofront is right, it is a possibility 3000 or 2900 and it goes up.
I hope to see the Toxic2040 graphic
the shorts are increasing

I appreciate the mention but my doodle's are sort of like my baking possibly...looks great at 10+ feet. Plenty of better chartist's around.

None of the kid's' could figure what this was...oh well. My Trump in the lower left above didn't go ever so well either.

As Marcus mentioned, we are now at or approaching positive ROI for mining again. Seems good to me. I think we will see the price consolidate in this range for the next few days or so.

Happy Holiday's everyone.

Hardly any shorts closed at all.  Just get all comfy and short to your hearts content. LOL  Longs have been closing almost as soon as they open.  Not a very good sign for an extended bull run.

I do hope I'm wrong on this one but take a look for yourself.   Shorts just are not closing.  They just keep going up.

Possibly because longs are more forward thinking than shorts? Or because [tinfoil]the institutions are shorting the shit out of Bitcorn so they can OTC at better rates[/tinfoil].
