BTC + Crossfit, living life.
So I've just spent the last few hours scanning through the posts on this thread from mid December 2014 to mid January 2015. It is amazing how similar everything was back then to how it is right now. I recommend any one who is questioning bitcoin right now to go read those posts, you will see that this time is no different to back then and the lesson I learned is buy more coins.

My favorite comment though is this one

Is crypto done??  Huh

No. Crypto isn't done.

But Bitcoin is.

Bitcoin will drag everyone down with it. But crypto will survive.

We need a crypto that can serve humanity's needs for the next 100 years. Bitcoin cannot do this. It's unfortunate that Bitcoin has died, but it has to be this way. Bitcoin achieved so much. No other crypto would be where it is today without the achievement of Bitcoin.

Requiescat in pace.

you saved me time with that LINE right there, surely not questioning BTC so not have to read it Wink THX for the shortcut.

At this stage simulation theory makes as much sense as any other.

someone wrote (sorry dunno who, science fiction author perhaps?) that we arent in a simulation. main reason being that irrational numbers exist. like pi.. something so universally used in nature that a simulation would waste vast amounts of computing power to model it. so basically, in a simulation, no irrational numbers would exist as it would be a poor design for a simulation to include such things.
Unless... that's what they WANT you to think! Maybe, outside in the real world, there are numbers that make what we call irrational numbers look entirely rational.

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
My bank just locked my play account where my most (actually all) FIAT investings located. Called them, she couldn't point out the reason but she said they'll get in touch to inform me.

I am afraid the reason is Bitcoin...

use several banks. i use one specifically for crypto, its linked to coinbase and Gemini and its the only account i have thats associated with crypto. thats its only use. when i cash any out i set aside what the estimated taxes will be and put that into a cd at the same bank.

New picture from Mars:

Interesting fact: NASA budget is 20 billion a year, or approx 15000 BTC a day.

If in a simulation:
 - Who says our simulation is using a classical computer.
 - Who says that the world outside our simulation has any resemblance.

Nice philosophical discussion Smiley

I'm worried someone will take them up on the offer and dump 15k BTC on the market. Even if it's a fake/bug wall, I'm still surprised no one has decided to test it. 30% of the people predicting the 24 hr low think we'll be below $50 within 20 hours. https://tirereviews.co/

So if no one will bite on the $70 mega buy out, they certainly won't be dumping if it slides into the $60 or $50s. At least for now the panic has left the room.

'tis a valid point.

I guess we're going to see a big swing in value today. Hard to predict if it'll be upside or downside.

We are due a short squeeze soon.

Do you think there's that many shorts in the market?
On a derivative platform I have open for index trading, which also lists BTC, they've got 71/29 overall long atm with daily trading over the last couple of weeks maxing at 57% shorts (today).
If 3600 holds on an hourly close today then a couple of upside targets would be 3800 then 4000 for me. A break of 3600 and it's anybody's guess, certainly 3k on the cards.
imo. fwiw. etc.

Done exiting the short. Scraped a few more pennies. Not opening a long immediately: I'm sitting on the sidelines for a while. I just love this swinging volatility.

Bitcoin usually takes its holders to Mars every few years... Why spend 20 billion a year when you can have a taste of Mars with bitcoin?

Indeed. Low leverage too, and I'm getting out of it. Reopening a little long position just in case (with tight stop).

Never selling
@somac. - I predict the same, 2021 mid year so Q2 or Q3. I’m hoping to sell around 30-50% then which will see me never having to work again.

Like you said, the rest will stay in cold storage forever with the possible, occasional dip into for luxuries.

Fingers crossed hey!

Spot on!
