I'm going to laugh my ass off when decentralized exchanges make all of these centralized exchanges extinct...

Any wall street involvement with public cryptos is a ploy to get inside and take them down, like with the futures.

I'll second that. They will be aiming for control in the same way as gold and silver markets are controlled.

Good grief you really drinking the cool aid. You don't know what shady stuff is going on in the Monero distribution by design. But the cripple mine at launch is well known. So get the fuck outta here with that nonsense. Yes this is a bitcoin thread, so why you guys keep bringing monero into it and obsessing over Dash.

IIRC I think it was you that picked the fight:

Monero with its opaque blockchain. You don't know who stealth mined in huge quantities and you trust that there isnt an exploit or bug allowing someone to mint any quantity of XMR they like. You don't have a richlist. You can't analyise the blockchain at all, You assume its all good. Yay. Monero. Its name even means something in esperanto. And it has a wallet now

Just sayin.

Since you took the time to look for one of my recent posts , why not look back a few comments further from that post I made and you'll see it was a response to ongoing pollution of this thread by monero commenters. So not something I randomly started after all.

So you can get the fuck outta here too with your cherry picking, out of context quotes

Interesting to see these predictions for a rally post Consensus. I was going to sell a little bit to pay for Champions League Final tickets but I think I might use fiat for the tickets & flights. I don’t want to end up selling 0.5 bitcoin & miss a big pump.

All good things to those who wait
If this is not bullish, I don't know what is:

Some of the biggest names on Wall Street are warming up to bitcoin, a virtual currency that for nearly a decade has been consigned to the unregulated fringes of the financial world.
The parent company of the New York Stock Exchange has been working on an online trading platform that would allow large investors to buy and hold bitcoin, according to emails and documents viewed by The New York Times and four people briefed on the effort who asked to remain anonymous because the plans were  still confidential.
....
Goldman will initially only be trading futures contracts linked to bitcoin’s price. But Goldman executives said they were looking at moving in the direction of buying and selling actual bitcoins.
The Intercontinental Exchange’s effort, if it pans out, could make bitcoin available to a much wider and more influential customer base, including other financial firms.

I am a banana.
Usually there is a rally around the time of this event: https://www.coindesk.com/events/consensus-2018/

Wonder if it will be the same this year.
Before, during or after?
All of the above.

Although prior years never had the futures markets grab 'em by the mee-ow...

More Gox coins on the move, this time 8k BTC might get sold soon, besides the 16k BTC that moved 12 days ago.

My grandma asked me if I was ao big blocker.
I said “wait, what?!...You know about all that Bitcoin stuff?!”
She said “Bitcoin?? Wtf is that?...and what does it have to do with football?.....”

man i still think of "big blocker" as a gearhead term for those who prefer large block (vs small block high revving) car engines.

My grandma is 93 years old, and she was asking me about Bitcorn the other day. That was a bit surprising.

The huge buy wall at $9300 on finex tells me the price is going down.

MFI crossed the bottom Bollinger line, we are going up. Smiley

Hope so.

either way it wil go UP or DOWN no matter what

or FLAT... it isn't only head or tail... but edge too Smiley

btw which exchanges are affiliated with the demo(n)crats and particularly the hillary/obama clans? just to be sure I watch the walls in reputable places... and not dent of thieves, pedos, traitors and co Smiley.

How do people send bitcoin over email these days?

coinbase allows it. not sure how it works though but iirc the recipient gets the email with instructions on how to open an account there to claim them.

EDIT i thought in the past there were issues if the recipient either never claimed them (never signed up) or could not open a coinbase account due to location or some such. those coins did not return to the sender. this was a while ago so maybe things have changed since then?

[talking my book]

You can use the 'textcoin' feature of Byteball to send something via email (or whatsapp or whatever) if you want to send some crypto to someone. Also, the claim back feature works flawlessly.
