I want to know Roger's feeling now.
BitcoinCash = 500$

$875 where I'm tarding
No, it shows the future of the movement. Cheesy

2 months ago we were going to 400K but now this is the death of bitcoin and there is no floor.
Well, why not think that's all. Most - it does not mean that all. He had a lot of funerals, and this is not the last, the floor will be.

There wasn't any fatal news when it went from 266 to 50 in 2013. It was just a panic selloff triggered by a ddos on gox.

I admit to being really embarrassed to have let my inner bulltard run away with my spoon. What more is there to say?

The sentiment on the forum perplexes me. When its at a high everyone is super bullish and when its down 70% (where there is always a huge bounce) the forum is super bearish. I thought all the super smart bitcoin people here would be better than that.

You don't have to be a drama queen in this thread to be "smart."

Lots of people are quietly HODLing and not getting into the drama.

Those are the really "smart" ones.

Money often costs too much.
So...this just happened to me;  went out to the grocery to grab a couple things, young Asian guy with 2 toddler boys in front of me in the checkout line had a NEO hoodie and cap on.

I caught his eye and was like "tough couple weeks 'eh?"

He laughed and said he wouldn't have left the house but he needed diapers for the kids.

This is the first time EVER I have seen anyone in real life into crypto.

Everybody beeing in crypto currently requires fresh diapers. Just more concerning is the lack of fatal news, what's causing this meltdown.

Everyone likes to talk about their big dangly balls like two snooker balls in saggy old tights. When the real action arrives they escape into their bodily cavities and refuse to come out.

Fear of catching a falling knife: too many false floors already, so almost nobody wants to take the risk.

There is no floor. This is the final Fail.

It could always be the final fail, but that is a lower probability.

One thing which is almost certain is that the 'final fail' will come for most alt coins at some time. BTC can only really fail if something better is superceding it.

And it will likely be a fork of it. So in anyway, hodling is the way, but damn... I would like to stop clenching my buttcheeks, It has already been a month.

Who sold at the bottom?

We don't know that yet... Sad

At fifteen. What's more unnerving is there's no way back in, again.

Multi year bear ? Grin

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-02-05/it-traders-panic-xiv-disintegrates-after-close

some crazy flash-crashes blowing up behind the scenes ... those kinds of places where all the risk has been swept under the rug into using oh-so-clever derivatives and futures plays .... the places that risk gets hidden so well that nobody-can-knows where the systemic risk is any longer.

I find this indication quite interesting. It's the 1-Week MACD histogram for Bitcoin/USD. The thing is, I've NEVER seen it go so deep on the very first bar before. The only thing I've seen close to it is Monero crash in Autumn 2016 and even that was slower than this Bitcoin crash.

For me it lends credence to the idea that the market is being actively co-erced down to a pre-defined level by the same holders who hoovered up the coin on the way up. They may be playing both markets in concert (futures and cash). What may happen then is once they're ready to cover in the future's market they'll do the same thing in reverse - i.e. go long in futures, then come back to the cash market and drive it up to kingdom come, collecting cash in the futures market and bitcoins in the cash market. In this way the "institutionals" can strip ordinary traders of their holdings over time and build their positions.

This article seems to lend some credence to that idea:

Biggest 12H volume since November.

Karhu will not be pleased if he brings it down more and a bunch of cheap coins are bought. Karhu wants to bring it up and trap the buyers at 12K and THEN drop it so they can really feel the pain.

Seems like floating around 6800, trying to go higher, but stable
Curious what tomorrow will bring, hope there is some good news from that American governement meetup.
Wow sad satate of bitcoin to hope for good news from US gov.
On the news there is nothing good, it's a little alarming. But the level of 6k really wonderful, at least near the truth. Very similar that goes out near the hearth.

Are you drunk....tooo?
