The Dow has crossed 24,000 for the first time.  Up 1.39% overnight. We are in stock market bubble territory.  Lots of hot money washing around which needs a home.

Monthly RSI at 94,1% today.

RSI has been higher on monthly only 3 times in BTC history:

* January to February 2013 - 95 to 96,8% max.
* November 2013 - 96,5% max.
* August 2017 - 94,5% max.

Each and very time after the RSI peaking a correction started.
In the very best case it was a 40% correction.

Interesting view ft. The first 2013 spike was in April right? Looking at the weekly RSI the peaks for both spikes in 2013 were in the 90s. Interesting that the  second 2013 spike was at the same time of the year and basically one zero short of this one. Of note is the long slow retraction to the $400 mark and the 3 years almost exactly to return to the high of early December 2013.

I noticed you mentioned a while back that you saw 7300 as a ceiling for November. Has the the recent activity changed your view or strengthened it?

Looking at the 3 month channel 7100 looks to be on the cards but that is not adjusted for the last month's change in trajectory. If this is looking bearish medium term $4500 doesn't look out of range based on a 3 month channel from 3 months ago... thoughts?

I take it the rate of new accounts at the exchanges has tapered off now too right?

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-29/coinbase-loses-bid-to-block-irs-probe-of-bitcoin-gains

All coinbase users are F*'d up.

If you one of those lucky 250,000 new users to their site within the last pump in bitcoin's price then your screwed.
The video on that article... lol

Do people actually eat that shit up or are these two really just that clueless? Granted it was very brief, but their arguments are just completely incoherent to say the least.

Hehe, yeah the younger generations are not even interested in using Facebook, saying that it's "for old people". So FB will have a serious longevity problem.

On another note, looks to me like Ver decided to dump all his remaining BCash for his other pet project Dash.  Grin

oh, so he is into dash too, I was wondering why dash is the only one in green

Update from our friend, Masterluc: https://vk.com/bitcoin_vanga

Rough Translation: Do you want to ask if this is the end? The Spirits tell me that the end is far away. Test 10k. Pokolbasitsya (?) near this round mark IMHO.

It appears he thinks the short-term bottom is in...and $100K by next year confirmed.

Your friend didn't expected that bicash will rise 400% and sold earlier, I somehow doubt in his analysis

Because he didn't anticipate, or just didn't care about, a pump of an extremely centralized shitcoin, you want to impugn his Bitcoin analytical skills. Makes perfect sense.

No it's just strange .. as a pro trader he should maximize his earning but if he don't care about bicash is another story

look at the past trading predictions of this person, they are pretty much spot on, if this trader says bitcoin at $100000 next year, there is a good bet this trader is right

From China and Russia to North America, virtual is the reality. It’s no longer a question of whether cryptocurrency will survive. It’s a question of what it will disrupt on its way to the top of the global finance chain.

-James Stafford-

Just using an example here. Facebook is a company whose product exists solely in the virtual. Whose stock is traded solely in the virtual. With currency that exists almost completely in the virtual. By people who live in the virtual at least 60% of their lives on their smartphones and laptops.

And the same naysayers will say that Bitcoin has no value in comparison?

The gaslighting is real.
I was very bearish on Facebook when it IPOd as well. I was upset that it has a value comparible to Google when google has 1,000 times more software and infrastructure and Facebook is a mere social network - just a simple UI. Nothing is keeping people from using a different provider than Facebook before there is nothing complicated or original about it. And now theyre pissing off their users with advertising and controls. I think it should be worth 0.0001 with the rest of the penny stocks. One day it will go the way of myspace.

Lets look at Facebooks market cap as the target maximum that will be invested in a speculatory bubble. Were halfway there. I called $20,000 four years ago.

This is based on the transition of our society into a knowledge age.
Most people dont realize it yet but in in the next 50 years majority of classical technologies will disappear and be replaced by IoT and autonomous AI's.
The future is undoubtly virtual and will more and more become reality.
Facebook has the advantage of having a ridicilous database - that is their main value.

/edit

Also about the old folks: more and more old people are using social media. I know that from first hand ugh.

BTC + Crossfit, living life.
I drew up this chart yesterday expecting a drop to $8741 before an advance to a new ATH:

Good to see price up from $9000 but I still have some concern we may go lower to complete an ABC Elliott Wave 4 correction.

few very nice orders are ready to buy a dip
