yes
I think more of hitting $25k and beyond with a subsequent crash of at least to 1/3rd and more probable 1/4th of the ATH. Trade accordingly.

To come back to economic speculation, I'll drop this here :

I... Don't really see the point of your article...
That's just a random guy saying btc is the future global currency right? No shit Sherlock xD

That's more or less why btc was created, global and decentralized.
But that doesn't change the fact that this fucking prize raise has a bit of a bubble too. I see people knowing nothing about coins talking about it now. You hear random persons in the subway talking about BTC and how the price is incredible and how they're going to invest in it and how it's the future...
Not that I don't like it but there is a huge FOMO here I bet. A correction is going to hit hard.

(Well of course that can be a correction that take the price back to 15k after it hit 20k, which would be an incredible correction buuuuuuuuuut I wouldn't care ^^)

Profit time

have let Mrs V8s go to Tesco for once rather than Asda, but none of that Finest scam.

if it goes to 25k in December, maybe Waitrose...

I can tell who's stash is bigger.

We have gone from Aldi to Lidl

"Moving on up, van de Lidl naar de Ap" even (From the Lidl to the Albert Heijn supermarket).

$25k is Christmas lunch from Sainsburys. Doesn't hurt to splash out once in a while.
$100k is delivered by Ocado.

^^^this is a Marks and Spencer food hall man right here I bet.

I live in a densely populated urban center, but occasionally drive some distances to ... beaches, for example, on wide open highways (where there are lots of traffic cameras, so what's the point unless you don't mind paying the speeding fine.)

Well, if you're doing 50km/h over the posted speed limit where I live, you will be charged with stunt driving (speed limit is 100k on 400 series highways) which means an automatic 1 week suspension of your licence, 6 demerit points, your car gets impounded for a week at your expense and there is a fine of 2 to 10 thousand dollars.  If you manage to get to 15 demerit points, you get your licence suspended for 30 days.

NB. I couldn't afford the insurance and maintenance on a Lamborghini anyway.

You know exactly where I'm coming from.
The local authorities can be.. . difficult.

Oh, is that where you live? G licence? That's a problem as I to, have no influence on the local authorities there. Where I come from (and I'm assuming where you once were, or if not, maybe where your parents or grandparents came from), ... being in any government position has it's fringe benefits. I'm speeding and counter flowing sometimes, and no tickets. Spotless driving record. Most of time I'm "law abiding" and just "being good."

I did get a ticket for a broken tail light, and the guy knew who or what I was; much respect to him for doing his job. I paid the fine and got my license back.

One day, when I'm there, I want to join the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) or TPS (Toronto Police Service), but will most probably prefer to be CF (Canadian Forces), cuz I like the CADPAT uniform look.

That's right, I live in Ontario.  I'm pretty sure things have changed so much in Romania that I wouldn't even try use money or position to get out of a speeding ticket now.  There are angry mobs protesting the government in the streets about their anti-corruption policies so if the law doesn't get you, a lynch mob might!  I do my best to obey the speed limit when I visit - it helps immensely if you rent an older Dacia Logan... at 75 hp, you don't have to worry so much about speeding.

You don't have to join the Canadian Forces to get a uniform; there are plenty of army surplus shops in the area that sell those... though you might not be able to pay with Bitcoin Wink

Not 2 but 3 bitcoins after the HF! I've expected that core team is secretly developing an emergency nuke POW change in case 2x wins. I know that some still think the legacy chain can survive with 20% hash support but it is not realistic. In this case unfortunatelly the original bitcoin will die and everyone will say: "The king is dead. Long live the king!" It remains to believe that by some magic wand the current price will be transferred to one of the forks.
