It seems I was utterly wrong in expecting a correction in the 42xx area before the next leg up.
The correction may come with the next FUD wave, but I expect it will be higher than that.
5xxx looks like a solid support bottom ATM.
10k by end of year is not unrealistic.
We do live in interesting times.

I think the same, but if we are looking for an S adoption curve, then I would expect BTC to break through the top. At the same time I see big players using it as a last chance to get in cheap so... we'll see!

Well, yeah there could be some BTG factor, too, perhaps. I doubt BTG has much to do with this pump. I have a suspicion that it will probably be worth next to nothing. I am certainly not going to keep my BTC in stasis from October 25, 2017 until sometime in November when they release it. If I end up screwing up any potential BTG I get, oh well.

I think that you can do whatever you want with your BTC after October 25, and it is not going to affect your BTG - so long as you maintain control over the private keys of the wallets where your BTC were at the time of the October 25 fork. The fork is a one time event on October 25 ...
