I own almost nothing, but I like to make these speculations for fun, so I have no reason to hope for a higher figure
I'm not sure this is something to be proud about imho.
I didnt say I was proud of this, I just said that I couldnt accumulate them and that I have a more impartial judgment
I understand that if you might be saying that you would not be talking your book if you don't have any of the asset (in this case bitcoin) in your book, yet I have my doubts when anyone is really trying to proclaim that they are more objective based on their not owning much if any bitcoin.
Judging people in this way, without knowing what happened to me personally, is very short-sighted and unfair
I talked about the price and instead you focused on something different, weren't we talking about the price here? then you are talking about the price and not about me
You are the one who mentioned that you did not have any, so you brought it up. You could have just talked about the price without mentioning your own BTC position (or lack of position).
You can start with $100 per week, and sure if you are not able to spare $100 per week then do what you can.. even $10 per week will likely put you in a better position 10 years from now if you are able to consider that long of a timeline possibility...
I'll try to accumulate those from the signature, hoping nothing else happens to me personally, thank you for your words, You have shown that you understand my situation
I don't really understand, yet I know that anyone who knows about bitcoin and wants to have a position has to go from their BTC accumulation status of today, and it surely would seem problematic to not have any or not to be trying to accumulate BTC if you know about BTC.
However, at the same time, many of us likely realize that no one should be investing into bitcoin, unless they can assure that they have a disposable income and that they are able to hold for 4-10 years or more. If you have a timeline that is less than 4 years, then you are likely trading rather than investing, and I cannot really recommend trading bitcoin, even though I know that some people do trade bitcoin and that is their choice. Bitcoin remains a great investment (if not the best investment) currently available for a broad swath of the world's population including rich and poor people, and yet it still favors the people who have a disposable income and an ability to invest for 4-10 years or more.

.........
The reason is I was quite surprised there's someone with little to no stash as a legendary member.
So it
peeked piqued my interest more than a price speculation, that's nothing but speculations.
FTFY
No hard feelings though. Don't take my words the wrong way
You are would be surprised to see a Mechanic that can't drive or ride a car.
Well it's still not too late to start now.
Each of us who might have had made mistakes can ONLY start to attempt to fix those mistakes from today, and in regards to bitcoin the sooner you start to better, and if you were not ready, willing and/or able to start yesterday, then you can ONLY start from today.
....
bla bla bla.. talk about price, you are ot
Sure.. some guys are not comfortable talking about their own situations, which truly is understandable, even though it is relevant to the thread, especially if the guy mentions something about his own situation, especially something so inflammatory as a 12 year forum member proclaiming to not have any BTC.
I don't have a problem to mostly attempt to not get into any of your personal details, since it surely is understandable that many of us might not want to really talk about our own personal situation, so there are ways to avoid that.
For example, "Look over there!!!!! Did you see that 30-minute green candle on Bitstamp? It went from $62,767 to 63,665. Nice little boost, almost $1k and we are still bouncing around in the upper $63ks. Remember all the guys claiming that we would not see $60k in September and then within a day or two of Uptober saying that Uptober was not going to play out? a few days later and we are nearly back to Uptober's opening price. Perhaps we won't see below $62k ever again?"
The bullish case for bitcoin is good..

don’t feel bad.
I am USA and had to check on strike
As when playing baseball and the pitcher throws a strike to the batter the Umpire will occasionally call it
striiii-ike. basically showing off and it sounds good when you are watching the game.
so i had to check on the word strike
That's pretty dumb.
Don't look it up. Let me test you. Off the top of your head, how many syllables is:
ggggggggggggggggggggggggooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
?
Hey!!!!!
1st point: oh gosh shucks...
2nd point: I had picked that Vijay Boyapati article, too.. I am pretty sure that there is another link somewhere in which a variety of languages can be chosen for those who might be less comfortable with English.
Last year-ish, I had done some calculations, and in the whole scheme of things, El Salvador is pretty whimpy in terms of what percentage of the GDP they are using to buy BTC. Of course, they have various friendly policies in regard to bitcoin, too.
..... at least Bitcoin is getting energized tonight - I won't make any predictions about it just to be on the safe side.
I hate to get all worked up in regards to a mere 2%-ish price move (so far).. yeah, it can be exciting to get even 2% within an hour or so.. .. yet we have been through these enough to know that they can go any direction in the short term, even while the overall direction ends up being tending towards UP. .. the longer that you have been in (or mostly in or mostly erroring on the side of in) the more you realize that ongoing Uppity has been the direction of your networth.
Weekend bump?
Yes we had about 1.7k to 2k or 62k to 63.8k
Bitcoin is "trying" to close up for the week...currently -1%.
Contrary to some others, I would try and count based on NY time and NOT central european
That said, it is already past midnight in UTC time...so maybe we "lost" the past week already, then.
Yeah of course last week's candle was red and it closed nearly 2 3/4 hours prior to your post.
It opened at $65,605 (on the 30th midnight UTC 00:00) and it closed at $62,814 (on the 7th).
Click on the weekly here:
https://bitcoinwisdom.io/markets/bitstamp/btcusdI see a pretty BIG gap between the opening and the closing weekly candle.. nearly 4.5% difference.. .
But hey, maybe this upcoming week, we might be able to make up for last week and then get back above $65,605? perhaps? Perhaps? It does not seem like a big stretch to get back over $65,605... yet I won't be holding my breath, either.
