Holy moley. Just got back from the ball game (and a few celebratory beers) to see an even better buying opportunity than I missed earlier.
I ran out to buy when it hit $1650 but it was back up to $1720 by the time it got there so I passed.
Hopefully it'll still be cheap enough to buy by tomorrow morning.
It is as you see ... 1659$ as of now.
It was, now it's back up above $1700 on bitstamp. Maybe it's best to buy the dips fast during this rally. None of them lasted very long recently.
Indeed. I've missed several bottoms due to the fact that they happened at night when I didn't have access.
Yes, I could have caught the bottoms if I chose to use online exchanges but after losing 50 coins (of the 120 or so I held at the time) to MtGox, I'm determined never to expose my coins to the internet ever again.
I only buy bitcoins directly to paper wallets either anonymously through ATMs or more recently directly from individuals for cash.
If I miss a buying opportunity, I'll simply wait for the next one. No big deal. There are more important things in life than worrying about money. I haven't had a job since 1976. I'm not ready to become a greedtard at this point.
Money's like chicks. The more you chase them, the less likely you are to get laid. Relax and let it come to you.
I didn't discover Bitcoin until shortly before my 65th birthday. Now that I'm pushing 70, I've put together a nice little nest egg for my old age.
Hopefully by the time I'm too old to keep earning, I won't have to eat catfood sandwiches in my twilight years. I'd rather be able to hire and fire my own caregivers and be treated as a guest in my old age instead of being treated as an inmate in some old age home.
The last thing I need to do is shorten my life by succumbing to stress about mere money. Sure, I follow the day-to-day ups and downs of the Bitcoin market, but it's just partially to watch for buying opportunities, and mostly for entertainment.
Enjoy.
