*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
am I the only one on the board who diversifies in Alts (large n small cap) while holding majority BTC?  Seems the way to go as a buy and holder

my BTC dominance has gone from 80% to 60%,  pretty much mirroring the actual BTC dominance

I bought a few early alts that were not that big of a deal to me but they have risen to the point where I check on them almost daily.

Though calculating it all, only one alt has done better than BTC and I would have been better off keeping them in BTC.

(LTC, PPC, NMC and Mastercoin for full disclosure).

^$ETC is going to hit .01 prolly today :-D #offtopic btc $2017

So much better this way. Naah naaah naaah cant hear you!!! Mooning from the start. They should call btc bullcoin or bulltoshi. Mission: to do bullish things to change the world with freedom, decentralisation and immutable innovation backed by a math so strong that it even created a new assetclass. Some guys still dare to compare altcoins to bitcoin.

it will be time to sell some when the "mainstream" folk start actually acting on buying BTC on coinbase or ETF, etc.   basically when they start talking about it and FOMO kicks in,  take some off the table.  (doesn't seem we are anywhere near there yet based on my anecdotal checks)

Lingham literally means penis (phallus).

Yep: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lingam

Kamasutra is full of references to that denomination.

So... Bullish?

No, I'm doing the same (albeit to a lesser degree). Some diversification seems prudent given their increasing role, though many here would disagree.

I think this is part of the drop I was talking about yesterday, which some ultra-bulls didn't agree with.  Clearly there are some weak fundamentals right now and Bitfinex will make them worse.

We might keep going a little bit further up but I would expect a drop to $1150 or lower within a couple of weeks before a sustained rise.

Turns out the "ultra-bulls" are correct  Wink
