I have a feeling that bitcoin will go up to 1400... what do you guys think ?

1500 by early July ... conservatively.

The March-June exponential doubling blow-off didn't eventuate so we relax back to the slower organic exponential growth rate ... and the exponential doubling blow-off is probably still in our future for this bull leg up (which is proving to be very long and resilient by bitcoin's historical behaviour).

I have a feeling that bitcoin will go up to 1400... what do you guys think ?

It must first break the Bitstamp high of $1350.

Until then, anything can happen - even a double top and a crash back to 1000 or worse. But at this very moment it doesn't look like that (second attack to $1340 is building up) - I think we'll see a new Bitstamp ATH before the weekend.

Nah, it's a bubble.  I know I look like I'm running around spreading FUD everywhere, but I don't have enough money in Bitcoin to have a decent incentive to do that.  I just think that people would be much safer if they're either holding for the long term or selling soon so that they can buy back in at the inevitable drop to under $1200, whenever that happens.

if this is a bubble then i also happen to be satoshi.

a bubble makes you shake your head in amazement every morning when you check the price. if this was a bubble there'd be talk of taking out bank loans on here and people going crazy everywhere. read this thread in 2013.

none of that is happening. there's no euphoria, no media attention, nothing. only a high price.

well, in the last 5-6 mo bitcoin is up from $800-900 to $1300ies, def not a bubble.
eth in the same time is up from 6-7 to above 60; i would call it a bublette, maybe a real bubble would occur in the fall (eth 2017 is largely a repeat of bitcoin's 2013).
One thing is clear to me is that eth is not really an alt anymore with market cap above 6bil vs btc 22bil.
if btc is google, then eth is facebook at ipo.
both btc and eth should be successful.
icos drive eth up because they suck eth out of circulation (temporarily, of course).

Bitcoin FTW!
after a thorough fourier time series analysis and markov chain monte carlo simulation, I conclude that we will go up mostly (maybe a little down sometimes)
Bitcoin's proven to outwit even the smartest traders and simulations, so you could either be completely right or completely wrong. Glad this time the growth is organic and not forced like during 2013, I reckon when the altcoins start being dumped and the money flows into BTC we'll be at 1500 and beyond in a hurry.

A bubble doesn't have to be a thousand dollars and completely insane investors throwing all of their money in before it falls back down, it can be any significant meaningless change in the price.  Healthy growth has to have a reason, otherwise it's a bubble - can you actually explain, with words, why the price has gone up 100 dollars?

the pyramids are too much for me to take.

this fucking price is insane! i no longer buy BFX concern stuff. the price has appreciated enough that anyone could have bought, transferred to stamp, and sodl by now while still making a profit.

i'd like to think the market just loves it when Jihan gets a fucking cactus stuffed up his arse.

i know i do.

The price is way to low, BTC's domminance is 64,9% ATM, wait when we go back to the 80% level.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy --> 2k.

Maybe you are looking at the pump and dump alts instead of looking at the legit ones. Just saying but you seem a little butthurt just because you got rekt trading alts...

it don't matter how 'legit' any alt is. they're all being pumped and dumped. you can make the most honest and best coin in the world. the pumpers are gonna descend on it.
100% true. You know that you need to get out ASAP when people are really starting to believe in altcoins.

hum ok, I'm starting believing in BTC, should I get out?
Also, the only alt coins I commit for long term are ETH and XRP, and no, I don't see any "bubble" on these coins, I'm not a day trader, I buy and hold.
XRP had his bubble already, ETH is still in it. You are making a wrong comparison about BTC and the altcoins to explain your point of view. BTC isnt in a bubble ATM, so you cant compare it to altcoins at the first place. Thats why the relation believe-bubble isnt relevant on BTC. I expect BTC to increase with 30% soon. Than we can talk about a bubble. Not now. We are just waiting for a shakeout at 1400 USD. I will pick up some cheap 4 digit bitcoins soon.

Yes, xrp had its bubble but you are saying that xrp and eth are still in a bubble and that I cannot agree.
XRP not anymore, but ETH still is, it only needs more pump before it will go back to a more sustainable price.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
I am starting to think that all the scaling FUD has been for a good so we can have a slow & steady rise instead of an uncontrolled pump/bubble.

On a side note, Bitfinex is still going full retard. Even if it is irrelevant anymore, I will have a big smile when it reaches $1500.... which at this rate could happen very soon.

It surely would bring some peace of mind if the Bitfinex matter could resolve, but who ever claimed that Bitcoin ever facilitated any kind of peace of mind?

In bitcoin, we have to have various underlying bearish factors that cause the market (or the fucking manipulators) to push the market in the opposite direction.  So maybe once the various shorts get reckt and Bitfinex is able to arbitrage away some of their behind the scene fuck ups (even though they don't want to refer to it as insolvencies), then maybe we can get back on the road to some kind of parity in exchanges (but probably only after a 20-35% correction - that could occur any moment - or maybe we won't get such a correction until approaching either $1,800 or $2k within the next week or two at most?)
