Happy for those litecoin-guys but everyone knows how this is going to end...

Its like follow the leader (whales) like some brainless sheeps. And then whales abandon the ship and the sheeps are trapped. Just like Dash.  -10% today. Nice

The FUD news of this week (prepare for 100% FUD)

-India bans Bitcoin
-SEC denied Solid X ETF
-Miners planning an attack on bitcoin when they reach 51% BU blocks
-Altcoins keep pumping so more kapital leaves btc
-BU keeps increasing
-CORE blocks keep decreasing
-exchanges prepairing for a hardfork
-BTC crypto dominance keeps decreasing
-Litecoin's volume is almost 50% of bitcoin's volume

Looks like haters have infinite FUD guys..

BU UNLIMITED = FUD UNLIMITED.  Roll Eyes

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
Real world use cases for litecoin are nonexistent.

People used to use it to move funds quick(er) between exchanges. Not sure if this is still the case.
I actually accept payment for miner repairs in both bitcoin and litecoin. I would like to see the local bitcoin ATM also do Litecoin, it would be handy to turn it into money for parts like I can do with bitcoin, the fees are lower, and the transactions confirm much quicker. Thus for smaller value transactions (under a K or so) it would be quite useful.

problem is, both exchanges must use Bitcoin and the fees for the exchange from and to bitcoin

Bitcoin future is uncertain, so people move to a Bitcoin clone to be safe Huh

At least move to ETH would make some sense, because ETH is not Bitcoin with another name

Actually if you like Bitcoin but are afraid of this whole fork thing it makes sense to move to something else that is just like Bitcoin but without the fork drama. Personally I don't like ETH at all as a Bitcoin alternative, so if I was inclined to move and diversify I would not chose ETH. And I don't like Dash's governance model, so that's not an option either. Besides both ETH and Dash are overvalued right now while Litecoin is undervalued, so it makes perfect sense to move there. I am personally staying in Bitcoin though, as I believe Bitcoin with all the fear around it is most undervalued of all right now. Once Bitcoin's chains come off you don't want to be in any of the altcoins.

Was the second ETF rejected already or will they announce it later today?

Rejected 2 days ago. Sry man. But btc doesnt care. Honeybadger will continue to kick some a**

where is the announcement?

more important than the rejection is what has been said.

in my opinion the first ETF rejection was positive because they didn't closed the doors for future applications and recognized some positives of BTC market

h  o  l  y shit.

https://bitnodes.21.co/nodes/?q=UASF-Segwit
it doesn't get more real.
UASF signaling has begun!

 Shocked

Sorry mate. What has exactly begun?
User Activated Soft Fork Signaling

some full-nodes are expressing their desire/readyness to go ahead and activate segwit without hashing power consent, they want to bypass miners and get segwit activated.

they call it BIP148 https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0148.mediawiki

Interesting, I'm going to look into this. August seems a bit early though, but who knows things can move pretty fast in Bitcoin. If miners won't do it while the economic majority is already behind SegWit and ready for it I guess users will have to pick up the ball.
