Flippin' burgers since 1163.
We are in the 'day tarders attempting to pick up pennies in front of a $10k daily green uppercut candle phase'. It is going to happen and it will be a beautiful thing to watch. Looking forward to the next two years like a little kid for its Christmas presents and make those bears look stupid once again.

Until then: sitting back and enjoying the summer. Wake me up please when there is some proper movement.

OT: went grocery shopping today.
Two observations:

1. Taster's choice (instant coffee, which I use in am because of rushing to work, etc) went from $8.99 to $13.99 (wowza!). Is there some coffee harvest problems in Brazil?
2. Large organic pasture-raised chicken eggs are $7.99 per 18 (44c/egg). Not bad. I wonder what they are in NY?

I am not sure about that 3.2% inflation now..at least some foodstuffs are rapidly becoming expensive.

That sounds ridiculous for instant coffee...  is that a 7oz jar?  I just paid 4.99 CAD (about US$3.67)  for a 100g (3.5oz)  jar of taster's choice decaf.  I only drink that once in blue moon if I need "something" in the evening so I grab it when it's on sale.  Usually, I make filter coffee or espresso (okay... Americano).

I double-checked the bill and it is $11.99 (up from $8.99), still, it is a 33.3% increase and yes, a 7oz jar.
Funny...now they are writing how many cups of coffee you can make with it (probably to justify the ridiculous price rise).

I noticed the new "makes X cups" on the label.  It made me wonder, who drinks such a small cup of coffee?

 LOL

Time is money; coffee is a luxury.

Any of you guys do sports

Crossfit especially? I do love it so much and curious of some guys in here maybe do the sport as well…

I don't do Crossfit, but I do weight training 4 days a week.

I jog or run on the treadmill at least 10-12 miles a week.

I now have 15 pounds more muscle but still weigh less than I did in college.

Also I have been an off-and-on MA practitioner for 32 years, first with Tae Kwon Do (black belt), Shaolin Kempo (brown) and now Wing Chun (black sash) and JKD. I also dabble a bit in Tai Chi.

Crossfit is cool, but doesn't appeal to me. Especially at my age, I have to be more careful. I've seen way to many people get overzealous with that and get seriously injured.

Also keep in mind, that Crossfit (like any other sport or hobby) can become very cultish. They set up an us vs. them, Crossfitters vs. "the normies out there" mentality on purpose, to keep people coming back and paying the fees. It's an easy mental trap to fall into.  Ask me how I know...many schools of kung fu are the absolute worst for this behavior
