Plant 1xTree for each Satoshi earned!
remember when we had problems with fiat not getting to exchanges fast enough (huge backlogs at mtGox and so on?)

I think we might have the opposing problem: BTC not getting to exchanges fast enough to stop this rocket.

I'm not frustrated Wink. I'm not selling at this point and if I was, there's enough on-exchange.

Just trying to assess the situation: so if this is indeed what's happening, we'll probably see a hefty correction once the mempool starts to clear.

On Huobi I think the correction will go from ~5450 CNY to ~5325 CNY ... But it is very uncertain for now if it does not want to go another leg up 15-20$ ... and then go back a 10-15$ correction.   Huh

Most bullish chart ever. Breakout after 3 year consolidation.

Not a double top.

It is an extremely good-looking chart indeed.   Now if you could all act very pessimistic and gloomy about the price (and activate Segwit), that would be the icing on the cake  Grin .
  • I highly doubt segwit will activate.
Definitely an option in my book.  Core seems uncompromising in its attitude, and a decent amount of bitcoiners seem opposed to them, so 95% seems like an unlikely target.
Quite a shame though, bitcoin could really use all the innovations that an activation would enable (I know you might disagree).  The most likely outcome seems that development will be stalled for a substantial time, which is not a win in my book.  People paying for their pizza with btc would give bitcoin a positive vibe, a larger userbase, and thus more political clout.

It would, just look at the huge opportunity that is being missed right now with the cash money-debacle in India. An altcoin or multiple altcoins will fill that hole, as BTC development is just too slow and not really focussed on making BTC a viable option for low value transactions. BTC will just be the settlement layer for higher value transactions (hopefully).
If lightning works as promised/thought, then plenty of low-value transactions would be made with btc.

(In one of these I lied)

Yes, that might be the case this time. Now fiat->btc is not a problem anymore. It's crazy how much bitcoin ecosystem has grown during last 3 years  Shocked

You registered this account when price was between $50 and $100. Judging by your first posts however, I get the feeling that's either not your first account on here, or you've been exposed to Bitcoin before registering. If that's the case, all bets are off, depending on whether you seized the very early opportunity or not (no shame if it's the latter -- I'm just mentioning the possibilities).

Because of that uncertainty, to stay within semi-acceptable (to me Cheesy) confidence, I'll have to give a pretty wide range. Say: More than 100, less than 5000.

(edit) Your estimate is a bit off, but less than an OOM, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm flattered for sure, but I'm just a scrawny 2013'er such as yourself*. I learnt about Bitcoin end of Feb, when it hit its old ATH (and my mind hasn't been stirred like it since).

You gave away .3 BTC in your competition, so you must have at least 100 I think. I also remember you making a good call on the main bubble, and looking at your posts in Jan 2015, during the darkest hour, you were unwavering.

*presumably.

Always remember the golden rule.

Most people only want to invest when things are expensive, not when they're cheap. Only a minority of the population have the presence of mind to decouple price from value.

Therefore there will come a point when the rally becomes self-sustaining. The more expensive it gets the more investment it attracts. That point is at hand.

EDIT: Stamp at $770, Hobular trading @ $796
