Plant 1xTree for each Satoshi earned!
I don't expect much increase until after the halving now.  But lately the opposite of what I expect happens.

Has anyone thought that maybe the halving has already been priced in...?

Remember the market is always way ahead of the talking heads...   Cool

Are you a troll or something? .... The price is not satisfactory enough!

Yeah, it was pretty dumb. How does anyone even think those things are connected?

A lot o' people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch o' unconnected incidents 'n things. They don't realize that there's this, like, lattice o' coincidence that lays on top o' everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either.
It's all part of a cosmic unconsciousness.

any1 else believe that crypto coins in general came out relatively unscathed thru Brexit?

Pretty bullish imo

Really? I was told by various cryptoeconomists that Brexit would send BTC through the roof.
Color me unimpressed.

ah, and you thought "through the roof" meant a non-linear jump to something like $4k, right?   Cheesy Cheesy

Not going down would've been a good start.

I believe that is part of the point that SheHadMANHands is making regarding your apparent unrealistic expectations....

You mean expecting X to happen when X is predicted by cryptocognoscenti?
1. I was told "if (Brexit) then (bitcoin skyrockets)
2. Brexit
3. Bitcoin tanks

If I told you
1. If (you turn on this light switch) then (a light bulb goes on)
2. You turn on the switch
3. The light bulb does not go on; on the contrary, everything goes pitch-black; in the resultant darkness, Bubba materializes out of (seemingly) nowhere and rapes you.
...what would you say about statement #1?

Yeah, you'd say "Ow owowowowOOWWWW!!!" WHY?!"

I'm in a similar situation. Local macroeconomics experts have told me Biotcoin would skyrocket if Britons voted for Brexit. Britons voted for Brexit. As soon as they did, bitcoin stopped going up, momentarily froze at the apex (per immutable laws of ballistics), turned arownd, and started accelerating at 32.2ft/s2 towards my financial ruin.
How fast is that in money, you say? Let's see... Currently  Bitcoin (BTC) $650.37 (-4.25 %)
 "Ow owowowowOOWWWW!!!" WHY?!" Cry

It's important to dump on anybody that believed that.

Voted for 600, don't really think it's going to jump that high as some people voter (700,800,1000). Could also be the that the new brexit referendum (as some people discuss about it here) will either f*** BTC or make it higher than ever before.

either way, time will tell though, don't think it's beneficial for you all to talk about it that much, though i love theorycraft

The next shoe may be about to drop ... just as everybody has been distracted and then stunned with Brexit referendum, Spain is heading to the polls today and there is a possibility they may elect radical leftists http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/25/fears-that-spanish-economic-crisis-will-deepen-as-country-goes-t/. Although they will be pro-Euro they jave pledged to hold a referendum on Catalonia secession. Separatism, decentralisation and instability is beginning to accelerate. The establishment has held it back for too long and it may now all come at once. There are insurmountable debts towering over the global economy waiting to collapse in a wave of cascading defaults ... accelerating political change will trigger these long delayed debt defaults.

Thanks for keeping us updated my friend, marcus.

How do you see this will affect us (Bitcoin and Bitcoiners) ?

Would appercaite if you kindly go into details.

I'm talking about the global tension we are witnesing such as the Brexit consequences and such.

Thanks in advance Smiley

I believe that is part of the point that SheHadMANHands is making regarding your apparent unrealistic expectations.... Even though Bitcoin has experienced several exponential growth periods in price, frequently there will be ups and downs, even during upward price movements.

Furthermore, in recent years, there are more tools in the bitcoin price-setting ecosystem that allow for making attempts to push the price down - whether those attempts are going to continue to be successful will play out over time, but being able to short bitcoin had not been so prevalent during previous exponential price growth periods.

I don't believe those additional shorting tools are going to prevent future price bubbles, yet it may cause a bit more moderation regarding the intensity and duration of upwards price spikes... .but the punchline remains that up and down price movements are going to continue, even as attempts to get weaker hands to sell their coins.
