Hey guys, look at the market settling again right on a USD dominated round number like 700 (or 699.99)!

But wait, that's impossible because the markets are primarily controlled by the Chinese, right???  Why would they care about USD psyche levels?  Guyzz???

(yes this is sarcasm)

I'd say it's more like a guy sliding down a muddy cliff looking for any little thing to hold onto ... 5,000 CYN (~$750) held on for quite a while before Finex crapped itself (I hate exchanges, they're all shit) ... now $700 is just the next little root or stone to grab onto.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
I don't think we can call BFX dead quite yet.  Too much damn money flowing into that place.  Would have to be a hell of a coke habit to blow that.

They are probably closing everyone's positions before reopening.  Brace yourself for the cries of indignation.  Why can't I go long on trader outrage.

That might be the safest of the options, to close everyone's position (at least within a 5 to 10% range of the current price)

It's a little bit ironic how people cannot seem to get enough BTC, and then we get a price correction (about 10%), and then the sentiment changes.. and cannot get rid of the BTC fast enough.

Yeah, we all want to buy cheaper, if we can.

Can be difficult as well because buy with the fiat, but then maybe begin to run out of fiat as the price continues to go down.

Up or down from here?

Seems possibly a little more down before resuming up, but I have been wrong plenty of times before.

Bottom?

If we have not already seen it, then maybe $650?  or $620?  I think that we are still bullish - even in the mid-$500s, but $500s may be a little bit more rough to handle.. so maybe we can ask bears not to push us below $650.. hahahaha.. they won't listen.. we gotta get the bulls to not allow below $650... .

Idk about you guys but I'm getting my life vest before the ship sinks!
And I'll be sipping cabernet knowing the ship will be just fine. Watched this stuff too many times.

Sometimes I get sad, sometimes it seems like Rupert Bear is being a dick, always sticking that gullible crossdresser Honey Badger with the bag.

700 looks like some good buying in the bigger scheme of things ... just not on Finex I guess  Cheesy

Are we going to have to start up the whole GoxCoin, FinexCoin, FinexBucks aftermarket thingy again? They can be interesting deals speculating on exchange solvencies with real BTC ... hope ya'll hedged for counterparty risk ... you know that thing bitcoin solves.

I'm rather annoyed. I was planning on selling some after I got home from work, as it was $740 all day. Felt pretty good about that price, then I get home and load up my wallet... nevermind. Guess I'll wait til the dust settles!

A dream that you had, about being a person.
^That, and Gentlemand has some anal fissures that you wouldn't believe. Sad

I think they triggered an automatic trading halt and now are trying to work out what the fuck to do.  The comments regarding network infrastructure are obvious BS.

Trying to remember what they did when this happened last time and the price penetrated to $102.

?

If you keep this up I'm not gonna be able to breathe, man.

Have some mercy for my sides or you'll be stuck w/ the funeral home bill Undecided

Your withdrawal will be confirmed in the next few hours. Apologies for the delay.

As you may know we use segregated multisig BTC wallets for all our users in order to provide (near) real time transparency in proof of reserves.

The transaction fees on withdrawals are dynamically calculated and added per transaction. The height of the fees is determined by BitGo's (our multisig wallet partner) dynamic fee algorithm. In most situations this will result in a balanced fee based on the number of unconfirmed transactions and the required fee amount to be included in blocks almost immediately. There are however situations where the number of unconfirmed transactions spikes in a short period of time causing the TXfees added to not be adjusted immediately on the new mempool state.

As much as would love to be able to adjust fees on a per account basis, this is not as easy as one might think to adjust.

We understand how being able to move funds rapidly will directly affect your trading strategy, but for us being able to offer a user verifiable proof of reserve is at least as important.

We are working with BitGo to be able to increase fees manually when there is a sudden large increase in unconfirmed transactions in the blockchain's mempool, but unfortunately this is not a matter of simply changing a number to increase fees.

Kind regards,

Bjorn
