Crypto Future here i come
btw i don't think ETH is done yet. Vitalik surely has a way much deeper understanding of Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology then most of us. His mind is living in the blockchain world. I mean have you read some articles he wrote before? It's some of the best stuff i have ever read about this kind of topic. Maybe with ehter it's just the coming change from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake that's producing some Price swings, who knows. But i think both Systems, Bitcoin and Ethereum can coexist very well in the Future!

get out, and never come back

So you are saying if i love one thing (e.g. Bitcoin) i don't have the right to like/love some other thing ... Or is it just cause you don't like people that are over nerdy or seem to have a disability, i think Andreas A. said in one of his last talks he is surprised that being a Nerd nowadays is making you famous or kind of "cool".

where do you think you are? some stupid teenage fanclub?

Wink well no, i think my post was a bit off topic..

edit: btw i don't wanted to promote any ether stuff or so here, i just meant he vrote some interesting Bitcoin Articles in the past before he started his company.

Competition is good. Especially, when you sit on both sides of the competition (read: faster improvements).

Literally the face of autism

If you bought this shitty altcoin you got scammed hard.

I'm really enjoying watching ETH bagholders dump their shitcoin on autists.

Get rekt while BTC soars fgts.

Sine secretum non libertas
Researchers from Cornell have come up with a cost per current transaction formula. Right now they estimate we're at $6.2/tx.

that's a true cost but they don't understand bitcoin if they think that's what a transaction costs. that $6.2/tx is what us users are paying miners today to process transactions and every one is good with it. we all pay it with inflation. bitcoin needs orders of magnitudes of scale in transaction fees. We wont get it if the value of the network doesn't grow.

They don't even understand the balance sheet.  One one side goes cost, on the other side goes value added.

In twenty minutes the next Gox creditors meeting starts and according to this reddit thread some kraken users have already had their Gox claims approved through it. One post in that reddit thread says all claims are in JPY. Does that mean the Gox coins will be auctioned or sold to pay the creditors in JPY?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4648wk/mtgox_bankruptcy_claims_the_trustee_has_approved/

Will all this Gox crap move the price?

Another huge uncertainty about to go away. Without the block size ring in the nose... this bull would be primed to go wild.

Add in the realization that gox has already been dumping... They have to know has many yen they have before they can divy it up.  A big supply source has just dried up.

Gox has been dumping ever since it was set up ... it has basically thrown 1 million coins onto the bonfire of bitcoin market demand since it was set-up.

You're crazy. You think a S7 28nm can compete with 14nm chips? You're eating what? 1,293 watts? Unless you're getting free electricity, it will take you a year just to recoup the cost of purchase, and by then who knows what the difficulty will be?  We know for sure the block reward will be halved.

You have to speculate that the price will go up to compensate, but if you're doing that anyway, why not just buy coins? It's a much more liquid asset than mining gear.

Look, I like Bitmain. I just wish they had some competition. It seems like free money for chipmakers, but those greedy bastards wont sell to the public.

You combative malcontent...    Cheesy

Timing is everything. Sure, the stuff just hitting from others is 33% more efficient, but the S7's have been running for months and months, before the difficulty went absolute bonkers. I repeat... timing is everything, you've lost that 33% easily in diff increases. It's one big race to earn it back before you go negative...
