People need to stop talking about altcoins (e.g. Litecoin) here. This is not a altcoin observer thread. Also, if you don't panic you will never be at a loss. Eventually the price will go back to the point at which you bought or it will go higher.

Wow, LTC saved my ass in the last few minutes. I was long with a much too high amount and made high losses. Switched over to LTC for 5 wet-handed minutes and got my money back. Never ever try that at home!

I work in the competing industry to crypto currency things are regulated to an insane degree and yet there's still mind blowing levels of transparency problems and unethical behavior.
Can you imagine how many more mtgox situations are in bitcoin? Do you really think gox is / was the only exchange taking shortcuts with customers finds and trade data?
