This place is dull suddenly. Must we seek out the bespoke services of a new troll? I think 4chan has them cheap.

Can we, er, not do that?

Shit. Fixed. But you gotta admit seven out of eight days and weeks is extremely rare occurrence. Even bitcoin doesn't go straight up forever.

Always nice to see a rapid increase in price though, so long as it's not followed by a rapid decrease

The data clearly shows the swaps were purchased and then sold in a short period of time.  During this period of time (you left out the exact time details) the price appears to have stopped it's rise and even fell about 2%, along with fees.  I'd say you provided evidence of a very short term hedge for a deal that was completed.  If you are going to stick to this story that you are the one who made the trade, at the very least it shows you just lost about $10,000.  Nice one.  With that, I will stop feeding the trolls and we can let the readers of this thread decide who is indeed full of shit.

..or you can just do the sniff test as to whether or not a guy with a gambling ad in his signature would control half a million dollars.

au contraire. closed half mil of longs on some clueless bastards.

I'm not going to say you're full of shit.  I'll just say the data would be strong evidence indicating you are.

It would be reassuring to know that was only the WO threads resident bear bailing. That would mean choo choo mode is still on.

I read something about a vast Russian MMM ponzi currently operating in South Africa buying up Bitcoins. Any news?

How is it MMM is a ponzi, and Bitcoin isn't? "Divide and conquer," is that how it is, Mr. totally not a government infiltrator and/or saboteur?
Nice try.

Quote
Bobby Lee, CEO of Chinese exchange BTCC, told CoinDesk his platform has seen a significant volume increase, though he dismissed much of his competitors' volume as "artificial".

Those behind the volume, he said, are not traders but consumers sucked into a Russian ponzi scheme, MMM.

"We have posted warnings on our site and on our social media to warn users to be careful, but they have been coming to our exchange and buying out like crazy," he said, adding:

"This time it's not speculative trading but based on them getting sucked into this ecosystem."

green candles seven out of the last eight weeks.
Upward momentum or overbought?
Time will tell.

One thing's for sure: I'm making a heluva lot more profit lending out my new fiat than my old BTC.

Why is every rise a pump and every drop a dump? SMH

'Really really fast organic growth that comes out of nowhere and is likely to be followed by super strong price correction' takes longer to type?

So there's no difference between a speculative overshoot and an instance of planned price manipulation?

A 'speculative overshoot' is the desired outcome of a 'pump,' which is a form of 'planned price manipulation.'
I'm not a mind reader, so can't differentiate between 'planned' & spontaneous mass hysteria/avalanche effect. From my perspective, the distinction is purely academic.
Is that what you were asking?
