There's just too many alternatives. I'm looking into bitshares.

well, i like to use a shortcut to filter girlfriends : think of this ...
if you use bitcoin, you want :
- reshape thing
- think in different way
- take care of the future
- love specialised scenario (global world currency ? OH YEAH BABY, i have a boner ...)
so, you don't have money (for now) ... but you can have a smart language BECAUSE of all thinks that you have learn with bitcoin environment.

These small blockers are really pissing me off. All they care about is mining over TOR. There is no way possible to keep that competitive. Mining for profit is hard but it is downright impossible if nobody wants to buy into your slow-ass network! You won't be able to mine profitably over TOR or ANYWHERE if price goes back to double digits. Fucking morons.

I don't know about Bitcoin getting you a girlfriend.
Do you think Bitcoin could get this guy a girlfriend? He looks like a fat pig and I think most girls would turn him down no matter how many Bitcoins he had.
He might get hookers with much Bitcoins (if he was very lucky), but getting him a girlfriend is different. Bitcoins can buy you hookers, blow, and lambos, but there are some things you can't buy, especially if you look like the guy in that picture. Bitcoins can't buy you love.

Fakhoury we are here for the long term brother. I'm not stressed, angry or upset about the price. We have a lot of time to kill before bitcoin explodes into mainstream adoption. I know you can't plan for it & it may not even happem at all but my target it to prosper financially from bitcoin in around 10 years.
The halving is a good time to start moving towards a much better price than the current one though. I'm hoping for 600-700 USD coins by this time next year.

I totally agree with the first part my dear.
Regarding the second part, here is my view and I would like to hear your opnioin as well (anyone else is welcomed too for sure)
1. The rally will start after the halving, it could be at Sept. 2016
2. We could reach $600 at Sept. 2016
3. We could peak to $1K+ and after some time, we can stablize there
If this goes as I said (even to some extent), we could say that a zero added to the right of the price after each halving is nearly true.

mainstream adoption - whatever you gentlemen think it means - is in no way linked to btc valuation, and neither are the VC perfused btc businesses a la bitpay, coinbase, 21inc, etc..
otoh.. the holders vs the looming financial crisis... kaboom.

I think we are going to witness a breakout to 800+ levels within the next 90 days.
That's a bit ambitious, I see nothing in the pipeline that could cause such a massive pump.
That kind of rise would be unsustainable any way, people would dump immediately & there would be a massive correction.
I'm happy to plod along sideways for a while until maybe Gemini opens, we could get a pump to 350 then. The real pump fuel is next summers halving, hopefully we can see 600+ coins again.

I am a permabull bro. I am a long term HODLER, I've sold nothing. I was just responding to the guy who predicted 800 USD coins within a few weeks.
What event or great news breaking is he basing that prediction on?
I'm still massively bullish & think/hope bitcoin will go to the moon one day & make us very rich in the future but I don't think 800 USD coins will be likely for at least a year?
90 days is not few weeks man, it's 12 weeks
But you are right, I miscalculated that 90 days, I thought it was 6 months instead of 3 months.
Even if 6 months, I don't think we will reach $800 in that period.

Not that I necessarily agree with the timing part of the prediction, but it would fall in line with Luc's call of the first bubble of III. A drop to around 3-400 afterwards then begin wave 3.
