I sent a card to the CEO of my company thanking for all of his hard work which keeps me employed.

It's all about thanking the workers today.
Don't forget to thank the shareholders for putting up the capital invested in the business and giving you all a job.

Definitely, it takes a lot of work to keep track of the market and buy at the right time and risk to keep me employed.

And the American voter who votes for more taxes to give government more power so they can pay for the military which keeps me employed. Thanks for taxing the rich American voter!

Not all companies have that structure.

Stability would be nice. We have to build a base for the next rally. We may see some upside, but I'm thinking mostly sideways for a while.

Still buying a coin a day?

On average, I am close. I loaded up in the $220s and teens. I actually sold ten yesterday when we got into the $240s, but I expect to buy them back this weekend and a little more.

The bad news is that any hopes and aspirations of making a libertarian statement against the status quo by transacting with a monetary medium that now has the full backing and endorsement not only of the biggest commercial banks, but the Fed itself, is now history.

Oh noes!! Bitcoin doomed!

* seriously though, one could get almost 500 463 Monero per bitcoin right now, if one was so inclined...

Good labour relations are key to any well functioning capitalist society.

Is what the communists tell the people before they take over and terrorize a nation.
Have you looked into buying a used cruiseliner for your project?

Do you have a solution for jurisdiction issues?

The pilot project will likely be built in the Bahamas with permission from the Bahamas government. At this phase we are looking at a hybrid seastead to be built on columns in shallow water which floating platforms and boats can attach to.

More of a marina as a launching point.

One of the partners is working with the Bahama government, introducing it as a research project.

A used cruiseliner was what Project Blueseed tried. They also tried to do fund it via donations, we will be selling shares and be getting revenue from the marina businesses.

Will it be within in Bahamas territory?

What are the restrictions regarding jurisdiction then?

Have you considered dredging a sand bank in international waters?

How about buying/taking Sealand?

Sorry for all the questions, but even for a social liberalist this is quite fascinating.

The main location we are looking at is Cay Sal Bank just south of the Keys, north of Cuba within Bahamas territory.

More than likely the restrictions will be the same as living in the Bahamas. Our initial step is creating a viable business and creating a launching platform for seasteads as opposed to actually being a seastead so it is not about politics during this phase.

There are no sand banks in international waters. The best I have found during my search has been a sea mount that is 100 meters deep.

I doubt we could get much investment capital for Sealand. People want something in a warm climate.

Ok, thx. Will be interesting to see how it progresses.
